English version
Seascapes have always caught my attention—so much so that for a long time I considered living near the beach. Opening doors and windows to gaze out at the beach, feel the breeze and the sun, listen to the waves, and breathe in the distinctive scent of the shore was a dream I couldn’t make a permanent reality; for that reason, I cherish the days I spent in beach houses.
Looking at the houses near the sea makes me feel a bit nostalgic. After exploring the alley next to the Salvador Allende Clinic, I kept walking and realized it connected to another one.

I liked the photos I took today; they remind me of what I had hoped for—my expectations—when I thought about living near the beach. Perhaps later on there will be an opportunity to make that happen, when the twilight of my life calls me, but since I don’t make my living from fishing or other productive activities related to the sea, I must resign myself to simply observing what daily life is like here through the lens of my camera.
