English version
This time, my adventurous spirit took me to a different place—I headed to the Los Bordones neighborhood, located at the far end of San Luis Beach. My mission was not only to enjoy the seaside scenery but also to explore the nearby tourist attractions.
I began my tour at the “I ❤️ Cumana” square, located at the entrance to the traffic interchange. The letters stand out in various shades of blue, with some bubbles recreating the waves. The artist was Memin, well-known in the city for his distinctive graffiti style. Without a doubt, this is the centerpiece, although the ground was also painted in different colors. However, the relentless Cumaná sun has taken its toll on the paint, and it now looks dull.
Flowers reign supreme in this space, which is why the garden looks so beautiful, even though there isn’t actually much greenery. It’s also important to note that the plants here have adapted to the city’s climate. In Cumaná, gardens in public spaces typically feature xerophytic plants, which are best suited to the local environmental conditions.
I took some photos to capture the moment—and, of course, some selfies. The “hiver” spirit remains intact. A plus for Cumaná residents and tourists alike is that there’s a police checkpoint very nearby, which is appreciated because this area tends to be quite isolated due to the lack of public transportation in this part of town.
So I continue to explore tourist spots in my homeland; I believe that if we cherish it like a great treasure, it will be able to show its true potential to the world. Caring for it is a true act of love, and I continue to promote that philosophy through my posts.
