A Different Shade of Havana / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

The photos 📸 are my entry to the #monomad contest from @monochromes and @brumest.

Greetings, Hivers.

I took today's series with a camera modified for infrared photography. It's the same old Havana, but seen through different eyes, it looks like a completely different place. Perhaps it's the kind of place many people wish they could be in right now. With so many eager to abandon a sinking ship, seeing the capital from a different perspective can be refreshing.

The white leaves that look as if they're covered in snow, along with the intensely black skies, create surreal scenes in a country full of green and blue. I sometimes joke with my friends that Cuba's color palette is 45% green, 45% blue, and 10% every other color combined.

It's not that I hate my colors, but there's no denying that these versions of Havana have their own appeal.

I hope you like them too. I'll be reading your comments.

Saludos hivers.
