Hello, Hive black-and-white photography lovers!
A few days ago, I was invited to a cultural event for children where @lizandra was scheduled to read her poems.
It was also an event where a mutual friend invited us to revisit our childhood through her interactive theatrical performances with a large group of children in the audience. I took the opportunity to photograph the faces of these children, whose bewildered gazes and genuine smiles were truly infectious.
Carmen—actress and friend—wielded the magic with the skill of a seasoned stage performer, using her puppets and songs. The children present were like a rainbow, their faces reflecting a vivid spectrum of expressions.
I decided to photograph them in black and white precisely because of the contrasts in each expression.
Astonished faces, gazes that seem to drift toward the horizon and then become deeply engaged with the subjects—I couldn't help but capture them.
Photographing children is always a privilege, thanks to the authenticity of their expressions.
And so, fortunate enough to experience what might have gone unnoticed, I smile and bid you farewell for now—until the next black-and-white frame—but not without first sending each of you a hug filled with light!
Remember: don't forget to smile!

Recuerden, ¡no olviden sonreír!
