I'm out on the road really early this morning, the wind is cold -just slapping my face hard, lol. Its really windy this morning. It's already 5:30 but its still a lil dark outside. Its quiet and the road is still almost empty, there's a few cars passing from here and there.
I kinda wish this Pandesal on Wheels is kinda far from home coz this vibe right there is really the perfect vibe to have a kinda long nice walk ƪ(‾.‾“)┐, lol. I can't even just wander and walk much longer coz the oldies are waiting for the Pandesal, haha.
And soooo, we had nice breakfast after that. Just the same, same, and no coffee again. Yayyy, its actually been a while since I last had coffee. Should I go with it tomorrow?? Lol
But hours later, Mr. Sunny finally showed up again, we're in our eay to the market. Its 8:16 am and the Mr. Sunny's too instead again today, aigooo. This is actually where I'm most thankful coz our place has more trees. We'll need it especially with the El Niño coming.
And coz we're early that the market is not as lively. But inside those buildings, you can actually see more. And to be honest if I don't need anything here I will never really go outside. Surely some feel the same way too. Like its howwwttt! I thing I need ice cream and soda!
More greens, we're already on our way home. We didn't buy much in the market, just veggies and dried anchovies, i'm craving for fried dried dilis with lots of garlic. It is perfect paired with veggies. Hehe
Here's a photo of me and mama, its just a shadow though. Ehe. And she actually forgot to wear her hat, aigoooo. Mama's forgetfulness is just...too severe, very me, haha.
Btw, this is the vegetable I bought in the market, its a mix vegetables, already cut up into bite size, and it is that vegetable for Pinakbet. If course it is incomplete, it doesn't have Bitter Gourd this time and also tomato.
But today's highlight was actually the dried anchovies here. This thing is 400 pesos per kilo ಥ‿ಥ. But I only bought worth 30 pesos of it. And with that amount I already got a lot of it (^._.^)ノ maybe coz they are really tiny and doesn't weigh much.
I just fried this of course, but with kots of garlic. You can imagine how good the smell is and when you ate them together, it just go "whoosh" so crunchy. And because I cut the garlic really thinly, even that is so crispy too. Its really really good.
And what made the meal extra especial was this Pinakbet that Mommy D cook herself. Steamed White rice, crispy dried Anchovies, and garlic, then the Pakbet -hahhh, its heaven! \(๑╹◡╹๑)ノ♬
And here's the delicious and really crispy Dried Anchovies. I actually put a small amount of sugar in it. It is actually Mommy D who did that before. And when I tasted it, it actually taste good, just a small amount. Its still different from the "kutkutin" we Filipino knows, the sweet and spicy anchovies. this one is just slightly sweet. Ehehe
