Noble lords! The Commonwealth marches on. Since the last chronicle it has gained institutions, splendor and comforts — here is everything new, kept short.
👑 A King chosen by the nobility
The throne is no longer held for life. On an interregnum — abdication, vacancy, or a cyclic election — we hold a free election:
- Candidates: top players by Splendor. Voters: every citizen (active parcel + Manor lvl ≥ 1) — one noble, one vote.
- The winner takes real control of the Crown account — keys handed over encrypted via Keychain, readable only by the new King.
- The monarch may also abdicate (a right of the Crown, not the admin). Vote in State Affairs; the 🏛 icon lights up with a crown during an election.
🛡 Noble Houses & the Royalists (new)
- Declare allegiance to a House (Zamoyski, Radziwiłł, Potocki…); its Marshal approves members. One noble, one House.
- A player can take over a vacant House through a proper checkout crypto HBD or bank/BLIK) and become its Marshal (you buy game-virtual assets, not a crypto).
- The Crown keeps its own Royalist faction, tied to the office, not the person — a new King inherits it automatically.
- Marshals get a live badge (on the avatar + menu) counting pending membership requests.
📖 Statute Journal (new)
A public register of every act the Crown lays before the Sejm — in deliberation / passed / failed — together with tax proposals, each showing its vote tally and a link to the full text on Hive. Open it from the King's profile or State Affairs.
⚖ Constitution, courts & domain banishment
A constitutional skeleton (7 titles, 27 articles) now underpins the realm and defers detail to acts of the Sejm. A judiciary wields domain banishment: the court (the Crown, for now) can silence a lawbreaker — no chat, no channel — until the penalty lapses or is lifted. The register is public; the punished may appeal.
🏛 Sejm & Sejmik — longer terms, clearer calls (new)
- Deputies now serve 4 in-game years (up from 2) — a steadier chamber.
- While Sejmik elections run, a banner, a daily-report reminder, and a 🗳 tab badge urge every citizen to cast a vote.

By each avatar: 👑 the reigning King, ⚜ a deputy's sash, and a wealth frame coloured by your Hive Power — from pauper to magnate.
📉 Turn forecast
Every village shows next turn's balance. Consumption is certain; production depends on how many Action Points you spend on it. 🟢 safe · 🟡 down to the roll · 🔴 deficit — pour all your AP into building or trade and output can fall to 10%: famine.
🌾 Realistic serfs
Each serf is now simulated individually, and overcrowding kills: mortality climbs with village size (~2% → ~5% near 125). Famine ×2; the 🛡 Protection prayer now ×0.65 — vital in large villages. Balance ≈ 125 serfs. Don't starve your people — and found new villages rather than overpacking one.
⚖ Goods weight & 🐎 seasonal caravans
- Each Action Point moves a weight-dependent amount: 🌾 grain 30 · 🐄 livestock 20 · 🪵 timber 10 (foreign trade, Royal Market, barter, caravans).
- Caravan speed follows the season (new): summer 500 km/turn, spring & autumn 400, winter 300 — set by the month of departure. A winter haul across the realm takes noticeably longer.
📊 Economy statistics
A new 📊 tab charts your estate's history: population, warehouses, production vs consumption, and net income per turn.
🔬 Academy tech & 🏚 ruin
Crown research now truly bites — infrastructure lifts building rolls and village caps, trade raises foreign-trade limits, administration strengthens edicts (the Crown researches, the whole realm benefits). A neglected parcel falls into ruin — buildings lose output and civic rights are suspended; a single economic action revives it.
