Just earlier today, a special land card has become available for sale for a limited period. It was the card Lumina Lightweaver that was created in loving memory of Lumina, the daughter of longtime Splinterlands community member Dwayne Cunningham, known to many as Infidel1258. Like many others, watching Dwayne's videos has helped me a lot when I was just starting in the game, and by watching his videos, you will know how much he loves the game. Which is why I find this way of giving tribute to Lumina's memory feels even more significant.

Lumina Lightweaver is a common land card that will have its regular foil copy delivered at max level of 10, with a total collection power of 2,100 CP and production power of 2,000 PP. As a land-specific card, it cannot be used in battles, but you can use it as a Foreman in Land buildings. For its abilities, it has the Energized ability that will allow Lumina to act as a Power Core for any land plot that she works on, and at the same time, its Light Rationing ability reduces the amount of grains that are needed when harvesting a land plot. Having both the Earth and Life elements, Lumina works best on Tundra, River, Plains, Lake, Jungle, Hills, and Forest, where it can give a 10% production boost when used.
What makes the sale of this card meaningful is that all the proceeds from the card will go to the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, the place that walked alongside their family with compassion throughout Lumina's life.
General Sale
The general sale for the Regular Foil version of Lumina Lightweaver that started on 8:00 PM Eastern Time of September 1 will end at 8:00 PM Eastern Time of September 8, so the card will only be available for 7 days. The regular foil version of the card will be prized for $35 in USDC or Credits for a max copy of the card. For every 25 Regular Foil copies of the card purchased, players will receive a guaranteed Gold Foil Version of the card, with each card purchased also having a 4% chance of turning into a Gold Foil copy of the card.
Since it was not indicated anywhere on the page, I do not think that players can use a potion to increase the chance of getting a Gold Foil version of the card.
Black Foil and Arcane Foils
Right after the General Sale period ends, the Fortune Draw for the Black Foil version of Lumina Lightweaver will begins at September 8 and will last till September 11, where there will be 2 Black Foil copies of the card that will be minted, both at max level, but only 1 of the cards will be raffled since the mint #1 of the card will be given to Dwane. As a Black Foil version of the card, it has a much higher Collection and Production Power, with a CP of 24,938 and PP of 5,000.
Right now, it has not yet been indicated for how many Fortune Tickets will be needed to have a single qualifying entry, but given that only one Black Foil version of the card will be raffled, I assumed that the cost of entries needed is at least the same as the price of a regular foil version of the card at $35 if not more.
Meanwhile, there will be only 1 Gold Foil Arcane and Black Foil Arcane versions of the card that will be minted. If we look on the previous and current auctions, there was no set price for the cards that were being auctioned, but since there is just 1 copy for each card, I think that there should be a set starting price for the card.
Closing
There are so many shits that happen in the Crypto community with all the rug pulls and scams. But things like this, giving tribute to the daughter of a long-time community member and immortalizing her in the Blockchain is one of the things that make me trust and stick to the game.
