Hello, there! **@saydie** here, playing **Splinterlands** everyday!

Vethos Spineclaw was another one of the three new cards that are currently available in the Voucher Shop. It is a Rare dual-element card, so it can be summoned in battle as long as either Water or Earth is an active element, giving it more utility than other cards. At the same time, having the Rodentian bloodline means that it can also be summoned by the Life Archon Captain Frankie, and immediately gains the Inspire ability through Bloodline Dominion, not to mention the Piercing and True Strike through Summoner Tactics.
For its Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draw event that has already ended, there are only 10 GFA copies of this card that will ever be minted in the game. Who were the winners? How many entries did they use? And how many vouchers were used in the process will be the main topic of this post.

Gold Foil Arcane Vethos Spineclaw Winners
For 10 days, the GFA Fortune Event for Vethos Spineclaw was held, with 10 GFA versions of the card being raffled each day, giving all the players the opportunity to own this limited version of the card. All they had to do was to use 5 Fortune Tickets, which is equivalent to a single entry. Of course, the more entries you entered, the more chances that you had of winning the card, but you can still win even if you enter fewer entries. Either way, the players who did not win the raffle will still get regular foil versions of the card, equivalent to the number of entries they entered, so they can still get something even when they did not win the raffle.
Anyway, the winners of the Gold Foil Arcane Vethos Spineclaw were:

All in all, there are 2,244 Entries entered for the GFA Fortune Draw. Multiply that by 5 Fortune Tickets for each entry, and we have 11,220 Fortune Tickets that were used during the event. Since each ticket needs 10 Vouchers, that means that the GFA Vethos Spineclaw has burned a total of 112,200 Vouchers in the 10 days that the raffle was active.
But given that we were minting 40,000 Vouchers a day, that means that within the 10 days that the raffle was being held, there were a total of 400,000 Vouchers that were minted, and we were only able to offset a quarter of them.
On average, there are 224 Entries that were used in each draw. Using beaker007's Resource Converter, a Fortune Ticket, as per the writing of this post, costs 711.85 DEC or 72.03 SPS, so that was about 3,559.25 DEC for the 5 tickets that you needed for a single raffle entry.

But if you purchase Vethos Spineclaw through the general sale, that will cost you 4,114.52 DEC, since that is currently how much it costs to have 100 Vouchers, which is the amount needed to get a copy of the card. So if we examined it carefully, it seems that it is way cheaper to participate in the Fortune Draw, instead of buying it at the General sale, assuming that you own a land that can produce the required amount of resources to get copies of the card that you need. Otherwise, you may also instead check the market for some cheap Fortune ticket.

Total Fortune Tickets Used For Each Card Mint.
When it comes to the lowest number of entries entered, mint #9 has the fewest, with only 168 entries entered, while mint #1 has the most number of entries entered, totaling 291 entries.
Arcane Card Winners and Fortune Tickets They Used.
As for the winners, we got ikee, with the least number of entries spent, only entering with 11 entries, winning the mint #7 of the card. While vugtis and dagge212 were tied for the most number of entries spent, entering with 115 entries each for mint #6 and mint #4, which is also enough to get a max regular foil copy of the card.

Through this event, we burned a total of 112,200 Vouchers, which is not a lot since we mint about 40k Vouchers a day or 400,000 Vouchers in the 10 days that the raffle was ongoing. But our main Voucher sink will still remain the general sale, which unfortunately also has not moved much as of the moment, and I do not think that will move as much through this Voucher card cycle.

Aside from that, the Fortune Draw event has burned 2,244,000 Aura, which is good for land, and with the 2,244,000 DEC that was used to craft the Auction Marks, the company and the DAO get 1,122,000 DEC each.

Closing
And that was it for the conclusion of the Vethos Spineclaw Gold Foil Arcane Fortune event. Since the card has become available in the shop, I do not remember having any single encounter with the card in my battles, so it might be that those who have bought the card haven't really found utility in the card, maybe because it's being overshadowed by the current modern meta. But maybe because of this same reason that players do not have as much interest for this card than the previous promo cards.
Thank you, and see you on the next post!
