Hail to the Hive!
Twice this year I have had to do a business trip to India, which I really enjoy. I have started to use the same few Hotels on these trips now, occasionally trying out a new place just to see what different vibes there are. Sometimes it's a little disappointing and i wished i had gone with one of my trusty favourites and sometimes it's a nice change of pace and something a little different, even if i wouldn't go back.
On this trip it was kind of a bit of both as I went back to one I use regularly but for some reason at breakfast we had to walk around the corner and use their sister hotel for breakfast. A little odd but, as I said, you get to sample a different vibe and in this case at no extra cost.
There was an indoor and outdoor bit but I like to be outdoors, and in the morning it hasn't gotten too hot yet. You do need to be wary of the crows though, don't leave your food unattended or they'll be in like a shot!
The one in the shot below here was hoping I would head in for some refills and leave my plate for him to grab a cheeky breakfast, but i was wise to him. I had seen his earlier attempt at Grand Theft Breakfast at a nearby table as I came out with my food and coffee.
It was all very' If Alfred Hitchcock Did Rooftop Breakfasts in India' Kinda vibes.
But the food was good and a nice little Pondicherry Rooftop Vista for me to enjoy as I formulated my plans for the days visits and meetings.
gave me a good monomad opportunity also cos you aew aware that I do....
