BuzzParty Meet Hive!

Gentle Reminder: Hive Meet | Saturday 17 October 2026 | 12pm start | Central London UK

Penderel's Oak Wetherspoon's Pub Location

A gentle reminder of the Hive Meet Up in Central London this Saturday, 17th October, 2026.

We'll start in Penderel's Oak, a Wetherspoons on High Holborn, a short walk from Holborn Underground Station. It has some cosy little book lined nooks, other tables if we want to spread out a bit more and an outside area if we get warm temperatures and brilliant sunshine.

I'll be there at 12.00pm (noon).

I don't think I've got any Hive insignia but I'll have my knitting, a hardback notebook and probably a haul of new books from the Waterstone's down the road.

I thought easiest to meet and get some lunch at Wetherspoon's. Then we can go over to the venue in Red Lion Street (just across the road). I've asked for tea and coffee and biscuits to be available, and feel free to bring something to share - fresh fruit, cookies, little snackettes. There's a Waitrose on the route between Holborn station and the Pub/venue, so you can pick up something on the way.

Here's a preview of the toilets 😂:

Please see my previous post for tourist information about the area.

Look forward to seeing you!

Pretty exciting, really! Seems like, a great meet-up planned! Interesting. Believe, you all will have a wonderful time, with the 'Hive community' in London on, Saturday. Wish, I too could join, will have to drive down 134 miles, via M40, so, probably some other time.

oh, what a clever title for a book! Jenny Sais Quoi, an allusion to the old French phrase, "Je ne sais quoi" 😂 Here's hoping you have a great meetup across the pond! ✌️

It sounds like a lovely opportunity for the Hive community to get together, share stories, and make new connections! 😊 I really like how these meetups bring people together beyond the online world and turn a digital community into real friendships. Hope everything goes smoothly and everyone has a wonderful time, with plenty of good conversations, laughter, and new memories. Have a fantastic meetup💙🎉

The book-lined nooks sound like a perfect spot for a chat. I hope the weather stays nice enough to make use of the outside area too.

I'll see you there. I can bring along some Hive merch for anyone who wants some.
