What a nice little Saturday! I started the day by going to work, which I wasn't entirely sure I wanted to do. I did it anyway, though. I wanted to get as much overtime as I could before the end of the pay period. The price of everything is getting ridiculous lately and I, just like everyone else, can use as much money as I can get.
What's funny is that I'm probably making more money now than I've ever made in my life, but money feels tighter than it has really ever been. Things are likely to just get worse, too. Lately, I've been feeling pretty blackpilled, I'm not going to lie. Nuclear war, civil war, and economic collapse all seem a lot more likely than I'd like them to be.
Anyway, this is supposed to be a post about exercise, so I guess I should get to that. I mean, I sort of did already by mentioning work. That's where a bunch of my steps came from.
The rest of the steps are from a 4+ mile walk that I went on with Stella T. Dog. It was a lovely walk. The weather was pretty much perfect. It was about 65ºF or 18ºC and sunny. The only negative thing about the walk that I could mention is that, for whatever reason, there were a lot of swarms of gnats all over the place. They're really harmless, and one barely even notices when walking through them, but they were definitely out in full force.
My plan for the rest of the night is to just relax and eat some things I shouldn't eat. Comfort foods, I guess. I'm going to watch some Beavis and Butt-head in my pajamas and enjoy it. If the nuclear bombs come while I'm doing that, I guess it'll be a good enough way to go out. haha.
