Happy chickens. 🐔🐔🐔

Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! After a couple of rainy and cloudy days, now the sun is shining on the sky and everything looks so brilliant all around. Yesterday me and my hubby @paolobeneforti spent the most part of the day with his family to celebrate the birthday of the son (11 years old) of his cousin! To celebrate all together the birthdays of the children is a wonderful way to meet, from time to time, the relatives and it's always a party! We were around 30 people, the younger ones were the 2 years old little twins and the older one was one of the uncle (91 years old!). We ate a lot of good food (included an excellent birthday's cake) sitting at a long table placed in the poch of their home. In front of us their large garden where, in a corner, their chickens were walking quiet. 😁

Yes, they have 12 chickens now (at the start, months ago, they had just 3 chickens) and they lives in a very large garden with the chicken house in a corner, spending all the day walking around. They looks friendly with people, especially with the 11 years old child who helps her parents to take care of the chickens.

Every time I go there to help the cousin of my hubby with the little 2 years old twins (I use to do it every Thursday in the afternoon) the chickens are one of the favorite "things" to watch with the little ones. From the window or outside but not too close to them, we love to watch them saying together (to exercise her way to talk) a lot of words about them. At now they have just hens, but the little ones love to try to imitate their sound: for the hen the italian word "coccodè" (cluck) and for the • rooster the italian word chicchirichì (cock-a-doodle-doo). 😁

Well, now I have to come back to my brushes and colors.

Oh how I miss having a chicken around. They can be a very sweet yk, Mama gives them name and its funny how they know it is their name hehe. Anyways, belated Happy Birthday to the celebrant. Must be a really fun family gathering ✨💃🌼🌟

Trenta persone attorno a una lunga tavola in veranda, dai gemellini di 2 anni allo zio di 91: è la famiglia come dovrebbe essere, con tutte le generazioni insieme. 🎂

E le galline libere di razzolare tutto il giorno in un grande giardino sono davvero galline felici! Da 3 a 12 in pochi mesi: il pollaio sta crescendo bene. Mi piace molto che il ragazzo di 11 anni aiuti a prendersene cura: è il modo migliore per imparare il rispetto per gli animali e da dove viene il cibo.

Anche qui a Ca' Paradiso le nostre galline sono le regine dell'aia, e ogni mattina il "coccodè" ci annuncia l'uovo fresco. 🥚 Ma i gemellini che imparano "coccodè" e "chicchirichì" guardando le galline dalla finestra vincono su tutto: una lezione di lingua e di natura insieme! 😄

P.S. @choko.shock ha letto della festa e ora reclama a gran voce le foto della torta! 🐕🎂 Lui le torte di compleanno le ha viste solo da lontano... 😅
