Hello everyone in this community! On August 29th and 30th, the Eje del Buen Vivir market reopened, a space where artisans and creatives can showcase and sell their work. It had been suspended since the earthquakes on June 24th, so I was thrilled when I was invited to participate. I'll tell you about my experience selling on both days ✨

Those who follow my posts know I've been making new products, and it was a great decision because it allowed me to have new things to bring. So, when I set up my products on the table, some had to stay in my suitcase because there wasn't enough room for them, haha. But it was great because I was able to sell several creations and receive positive feedback from the attendees.

On the other hand, since I like to take advantage of the opportunity to wear eye-catching outfits, I not only gain confidence to serve customers (I'm somewhat introverted, but wearing my favorite clothes gives me more courage), but I also receive compliments on my outfits, people ask for photos, or I meet people who share my style. It's really enjoyable and motivates me to keep doing it, as it's one of my favorite parts of going to these markets. An artisan told me that this was part of my "art," because I express myself through what I wear... and she's right, haha. I like putting together outfits like these, and I know they go well with my products.

As for the other artisans, it was wonderful to reconnect with them. The great thing about these events is that you end up meeting incredibly talented and creative people, full of that spirit that makes you feel anything is possible if you put your heart into it. Hearing from the artisans themselves about their journeys as artists always inspires me, so I'm always eager to listen and am captivated by everything they share. They are my role models 💪

There's another market coming up soon, and I've been invited! I'm so happy because it motivates me to keep creating. I need to restock some things I sold, and I also have a sewing commission in progress, so I'll try to take things slowly and enjoy the process too. In the next few days, I hope to share more detailed photos of my outfits, as well as an explanation of my inspiration behind them. Don't miss it! 💚

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! El pasado 29 y 30 de Agosto volvió a activarse el mercadillo del Eje del buen vivir, un espacio en el que permiten a los artesanos y creativos, mostrar y vender sus trabajos. Se había suspendido la actividad del mismo desde los terremotos ocurridos el 24 de Junio, por lo que me alegré bastante cuando me invitaron para participar. Les hablaré entonces sobre mi experiencia como stand de ventas ambos días ✨

El que siga mis publicaciones, sabrá que he estado fabricando productos nuevos y fue una decisión acertada, porque eso me permitió tener cosas nuevas para llevar. De esa forma, cuando acomodé mis productos sobre la mesa, algunos tuvieron que quedarse en la maleta porque no había espacio para ellos jaja Pero estuvo genial, porque pude vender varias creaciones, así como recibir buenos comentarios de los asistentes.

Por otro lado, como me gusta aprovechar la oportunidad para usar outfits llamativos, no sólo me lleno de confianza para poder atender a los clientes (soy algo introvertida, pero con mi ropa favorita, me lleno más de valor), sino que también recibo halagos sobre mis outfits, me piden fotografías o me encuentro con personas afines a ese tipo de estilo de vestir. Es realmente muy ameno y me motiva a seguir haciéndolo, pues es de mis partes favoritas de asistir a estos mercadillos. Una artesana me dijo que eso, era parte de mi "arte", pues me expresaba a través de lo que me ponía... y tiene razón jaja me gusta elaborar outfits como estos y sé que combinan con mis productos.

En cuanto a los demás artesanos, fue muy grato reencontrarme con ellos. Lo genial de estos eventos, es que acabas conociendo personas muy talentosas, creativas y llenas de ese espíritu que te hace sentir que todo es posible si te esmeras en ello. Escuchar de los propios artesanos cómo ha sido sus propios caminos como artistas, me llena siempre de motivación, así que siempre estoy dispuesta a escucharlos y a quedar fascinada con todo lo que exponen. Son mi ejemplo a seguir 💪

Dentro de poco habrá otro mercadillo y he sido invitada. Estoy muy feliz porque eso me motiva a seguir creando. Tengo que reponer algunas cosas que vendí, así como tengo un encargo de costura en proceso, por lo que trataré de tomarme las cosas con calma para disfrutar también del proceso. En los próximos días, espero mostrarles fotos más detalladas de mis outfits, así como una explicación de mi inspiración para los mismos ¡No se lo pierdan! 💚
