Love in the Midst of the Storm

Hi everyone, @suisver here with a new post for the channel. Well, friends, here’s the story: today I went to university with my girlfriend. After asking her for a long time, she finally decided to come along and meet my friends from college.

When we arrived, we walked around the campus and had a really nice, fun time admiring the scenery; the day was great, and everything pointed to it being an extraordinary outing. We even ate rice cakes and tried some delicious ice cream; everything was going smoothly.

I headed to the classroom while she waited for me in the hallway, sitting on a bench. But then, the afternoon turned a sinister, terrifying gray; a fierce wind picked up, and the first drops of rain began to fall. Before long, the wind intensified and the rain came down harder. Suddenly, there was an explosion: the university's transformers started blowing up. Some people said lightning had struck and damaged them. The power went out completely, plunging everything into darkness while the rain poured down furiously.

At university, next to my girlfriend

I stepped out of the classroom and found my girlfriend in the hallway, terrified. Like a good boyfriend, I hugged her and told her nothing bad would happen to her as long as she was with me (even though I was scared too—I wanted my mom nearby—I had to act brave). I took her hand, and we headed to a safer spot where the wind wasn't blowing as hard and we wouldn't get wet.

I felt a bit annoyed because it was the first time I’d asked her to come to university with me, and it seemed like the world was ending that very day. The rain was so heavy that we even lost our mobile signal. Finally, after about two hours, the rain stopped, the power came back on, and I was able to get her home safe and sound, but she was left with no desire to ever come back to the university with me. That really bummed me out, but I can always treat her to ice cream near her place instead.

I hugged her and told her nothing bad would happen to her as long as she was with me (even though I was scared too—I wanted my mom nearby—I had to act brave). You managed to find the humorous side when recounting that terrible moment you went through with your girlfriend, and you handled yourself bravely. May you share many happy times together, and may anything unpleasant stay far away from you.

Exploding transformers can definitely be scary, especially if you're not expecting them.

That sucks your girlfriend doesn't want to come back to visit there. 😕

@suisver You went through a very delicate situation; it's good that you're okay and that it was just a scare. !hivekr !LADY !ALIVE !HUESO

  • The Rain can't stop us men 😆, but it does make things a bit more interesting sometimes.
