A shops and such around New Bedford MA

Good morning, and have a great weekend. Today I will share images of a few shops in downtown New Bedford, MA, I actually took these on a walk the other day after one person contacted me on another site asking if I had any photos of one of these shops, which I will get to later. Although I had walked past it many times, the light was never that good for photos, so the next day, when I thought and hoped the light would be better, I headed out with a goal of capturing a photo of it and, while there, a few other shops in the area.

But first, let me start with this building, which houses Carter's clothing and footwear; it is located at the corner of William Street and Second Street in New Bedford, MA. Established in 1947, Carter's is a long-standing downtown staple serving the South Coast community.

Well known for quality workwear, outdoor apparel, footwear (especially Timberland products), and uniforms, and I noticed when I looked up their FB page that they also have some local T-shirts, including the big recycled rooster I shared a photo of recently.

And this is the place I was asked about, Cultivator Shoals, which I believe was constructed in 1892 and has had various occupants the restaurant has had different owners. The person that contacted me I think , is one of the current owners

And next up, this is People's Pressed, as the sign says a cold-pressed juice company

and to finish off another museum I keep telling myself i must visit sometime, the Fishing Heritage center and museum.
