The Ending I Foreshadowed

***For years I've guarded my heart*** ***Afraid of having it be broken apart*** ***It wasn't easy to piece them back*** ***It wasn't easy to be back on track***
***But then something short-circuited in me*** ***Making me reach for the hidden key*** ***The key to once again open my heart*** ***Straight, right in the middle, pierced like a dart***
***I may have opened it, but I am still scared*** ***To feel this seen and to be shown some care*** ***As happiness grew, anxiety overshadowed*** ***For the ending, I have already foreshadowed***
***I know myself more than anyone else*** ***Deep within me a certain fear dwells*** ***I like you so, and I'm falling deep*** ***I just know my nightmare has started to creep***
***Someone liking me is an impossible dream*** ***It's funny, I can even make a thousand memes*** ***Should I continue to swim and enjoy the shallows?*** ***Or should I just fast-forward to the ending I've foreshadowed***
