Skipton Reflections, boats, gongoozling and a splash of blue for SMARP

Hello Hello Hivians

It's Sunday and I can tell you that autumn is here! Yesterday was a gorgeous day, today was meh, grey and cloudy!

However last Saturday was fluffing glorious and we done in Skipton in Yorkshire. Now I always wanted to go there because of the canal.

I will not say more about the canal as that is a separate post. Suffice to say when we were walking, I was reflections this will make fluffing amazing reflections pictures.

Then tonight I discover the last time I posted a reflections post was January 9th! What the actual fluff... Let's rectify this with some canal boat reflections...

Yes it's that time for me to choose my entry picture!

So here 👇👇👇 is my entry for Reflection Hunters Contest - Round 292

This was a tricky choice. I am going with this shot as well I love blue lol! No seriously it was a toss up between three of them I think.

But this is a classic what you see is what you get. It is a narrowboat or canal boat first and foremost and the reflection reflects it boom boom!

What do you think? Did I pick the suitable one, or would you have chosen another one?

Lovely pictures — and I just had to ask what gongoozle meant, hahaha… What an interesting word for that pastime I love whenever I’m at Havana’s dock, watching the ships and boats go by.

I always enjoy coming here, it’s such a happy place. Autumn really is a gorgeous season.

I wish the US still had old canals and the canal boats like that. I think they probably do here and there, but it's not as much of a culture anymore like you see over in the UK and Europe I don't think.

I'm a big fan of the various narrow boat shows online. There is something appealing about a narrow boat life.
