Another day far from civilization. My Actifit Report Card: September 4 2026

Today was a nature walk day. We went around the property and saw just how much things grow in a year. Hint. It's a lot.

We got to see a bear while on the hike However bears typically want nothing to do with people and when my dog chased it the bear took off at top speed.

We did have a shotgun and bear spray but I really didn't want to use either of them.

Earlier in the day my son really wanted to shoot the guns. Not my favorite thing but I said sure and we set up some short range targets.

Other than that I took my dog for a walk in the morning along the very quiet gravel road in front of my home.

Not a bad way to get my 12k steps :)
