Exercise can be for any age, even most children need exercise, have you seen where they are bathing a new baby and the person bathing will have to be doing some movements on the baby's body? So that is why I believe exercise can be for anybody, my uncle is 60 something and he still exercises, so why would exercise be for specific people?

I currently do walks for now, not any tedious exercise, I take walks almost always just to free up tensed muscles.
But, really, where did the idea that exercise was only for people that went to the gym, lift heavy weights, have six pack abs and sweat buckets in some fancy fitness center come from? And when I think about it, movement in any form has been a part of human life all along, since the baby stretches their little arms and legs during bath time, until the old people do slow stretches to prevent their joints from getting stiff.
I'm going to be honest, I think a lot of people are discouraged to exercise because they think they need to do it at that intensity or that they need to look a certain way before they can even think of exercising, but I think for long term health, it doesn't matter if you're doing walking, stretching or just getting some movement throughout the day, it matters just as much.
About the same time, my uncle, who is in his 60s and is still dedicated to exercising, tells me that it shows the body still needs to be moved, still needs to be used, not just completely idle. I think we'd all like to think that once we hit a certain age, we should just take a break for good, but that can work against the body over time, stiffening joints, weakening muscles, slowing down circulation.
For me personally, walking has become this simple, low pressure way to stay active without forcing myself into some rigid, tedious routine I know I will not stick to long term, there is something about just moving my body, getting some fresh air, letting my muscles release whatever tension has been building up, that works so much better for me mentally and physically than forcing myself into intense workouts I do not actually enjoy.
I think the real answer to whether there is a specific age for exercise is simply no, there isn't, what changes with age is the type and intensity of exercise that makes sense for your body, but movement itself, staying active in whatever form fits your current stage of life, remains important from birth all the way into old age.
So you see, exercise is not reserved for the young, the fit, or the ones with time to spend hours in a gym, It is infact for everybody, in whatever form fits where you are right now, and for me right now, that form is simply walking.
