While Atari may have pulled the plug on the Jaguar and let it die, fans simply will not let it stay dead. One fan recently showed off their 3D engine for the Atari Jaguar console, and it is truly impressive. They included several resolution modes for us to see the differences in quality too.

I have never owned an Atari Jaguar though came close at a local Electronics Boutique (EB) once – I came home with the 3DO instead. They didn’t have any “good” games left for the Jaguar (no AVP, no Tempest, Iron Soldier, etc) so it was an easy decision for me.
I often think that I made the wrong choice as over the next few years I found copies of the “good” games at yardsales but passed as I couldn’t find a console for a decent price.
Growing up, I was an Atari fan. I only came to the NES in 1989 because my brother bought me one for Christmas. Prior to that I was rocking the 2600 and occasionally the 7800 when I could get the power cord to work (my dog at the time chewed it in two).
Seeing works in progress like what YouTube content creator, ashra ivy, has in the works makes me want to find a Jaguar someday.

In the video above, you will see a few resolutions and quality improvements shown. It is interesting to see the same engine at different graphics quality levels like this.
I have no clue what most of the verbiage used in the description is but I understand the basics. The point is, the Jaguar has a lot more power to show than what we thought based on the commercial products made available all those years ago.
Please show the developer some support, a like, a share, a friendly comment, it all goes a long way in showing great support for people doing things like this in their spare time.
