Hello, everyone! I hope you are all doing well.
Today, I want to share one of my simple routines as a mother: doing the laundry. For me, this is one of the most tiring household chores. Imagine, even if we wash clothes today, there will be another pile waiting for us tomorrow. Sometimes, I feel tired just thinking about it!
As a mother, our work does not stop at doing the laundry. We also need to take care of our children, prepare food, look after our husbands, and keep our homes clean. There are days when I wish I could finish all the household chores in just one morning so I could have more time to rest.
We have a washing machine at home, and honestly, I am thankful for it. It makes washing clothes easier, especially when we have many clothes and blankets to clean. But even with a washing machine, there are still times when I choose to wash clothes by hand.
Sometimes, there are only a few pieces to wash, so I just do them manually instead of using the machine. There are also clothes that I want to wash carefully. For me, it depends on the kind of laundry and how much time I have.
But washing is only one part of the job. After that, I still need to hang the clothes and blankets outside. When the sun is not shining, drying them can take longer, and sometimes I have to wait before everything is ready to be used again.
Today, I am happy because the sunshine is beautiful. I took the opportunity to bring our clothes and blankets outside to dry. I know how helpful the sunlight is, especially when I want our laundry to dry faster.
Looking at those clothes hanging under the sun reminds me of how simple yet tiring a mother's daily life can be. They may look like ordinary clothes and blankets, but washing them every day requires time and effort.
Even if we have modern appliances to help us, there are still household tasks that need our personal attention.
I always get tired, but I know these little things are part of taking care of my family. And just like any mother, I continue doing my best, one household chore at a time.
