A few months ago, I saw an ad for coffee served in a cookie cup, and I was really curious to try it... I sent it to my friend V, and she replied, “Treat me!”

And I, of course, gladly invited her—she’s one of the people in my super-small circle who I know loves coffee and also has a sweet tooth. This coffee promised a generous spread of Nutella on the edge of the cookie and some peanuts; it looked good in the ad and was also something different—at least for us.

The coffee was good—a simple brown brew. V and I liked how it paired with the peanuts and the presentation, since it’s fun and eye-catching for sweet tooths like us.

As for the cookie, of course, it was hard enough to hold hot coffee inside for a good few minutes. V tried to take a bite while there was still coffee left, but it felt like stone—and it was a bad idea, since it might break while there was still coffee remaining.

We enjoyed our coffee with peanuts—a combination we wouldn’t usually go for. We sipped our coffee while nibbling around the rim of the cup, just the Nutella and the peanuts; biting into the “rock” cookie was definitely tricky, plus I don’t think almost anyone likes eating rocks 😃

Finally, in the blink of an eye, V used her little mouse teeth to eat a good chunk of the “stone” cookie—the heat from the coffee had softened it up a bit. I wasn’t about to be outdone, so I sharpened my teeth a little, too.

We both agreed that a dollop of Nutella on the bottom of the stone cookie would have been nice, but we still enjoyed the outing, each other's company, and, of course, the coffee.
