Big Brands are Now Closer to Home: Shopping Locally in Guimaras

Good day, Hivers!!

How's everyone doing?? I wish you are all well while reading my blog.

How do you shop for clothes, shoes, bags, and other fashion items? Are stores and shops just a few blocks away? Are shopping malls just right around the corner?

Well, it's totally different here in Guimaras. Guimaras is an island province with lots of tall trees, surrounded by beautiful beaches. Years ago, during the holiday season, the opening of classes, or just a simple weekend, people rushed to the city to buy gifts, school supplies, appliances, or even food. People endure 1 to 3 hours, depending on where they are from, just to travel to the city.

Now, everything is slowly changing.

Except for the local cafes and restaurants, big food companies like Jollibee and McDo are already on the island. Followed by others.

There's now a small denim hub near our house. It's a one-stop shop for 4 famous brands: RRJ, Stylistic Mr. Lee, Petrol, and Bobson.

Recently, my husband and I checked out the denim hub. We bought a few T-shirts. Most of their items were on sale.

This is great because we don't need to go to the city to buy Christmas presents. These clothes are perfect.

They also have shades, belts, and a few hats on display.

I wish there were a shopping mall here in Guimaras. 😁

Wow na miss ko yata mga ganyan na branded tshirt at jeans..hehe parang this year sa ukay ukayan lang aabot yung budget ko🤣🤣😍enjoy shopping po may you choose the right brand with the right amount of price😁

It's nice that more brands are opening closer to your home, sparing many from having to travel far for their needs (and even wants). For sure, marami pa ang darating, and who knows, a shopping mall is already in the plans :)

That's so nice because it's so close to your place! You don't have to waste money on fare anymore. You just need some self-control, or you might end up completely broke from constantly buying clothes out of temptation!

Nakupo, OMG! I enjoyed reading your blog today. It is nice to see how Guimaras is slowly developing and becoming more convenient for everyone. Before, people had to spend many hours traveling just to buy clothes and other necessities, kaya nakakapagod talaga. Now, having a denim hub near your place is a big advantage. I also get excited whenever I find branded clothes on sale because it helps save money. The T-shirts you and your husband bought look like a great purchase. I can relate because I also prefer shopping near home instead of traveling far. Transportation costs can add up, so having more stores nearby is very helpful. It's amazing that famous food chains are now available in Guimaras, too. Little by little, many things are becoming accessible on the island. Sana more businesses will open there in the future.
