Is it possible to beat family's expectations?

Hello, Ram Ram, Namaste, Sastriyakal, to all Hive users. Today, I'll tell you whether it is possible to beat your family's expectations. We all know that our family has a lot of expectations from us and that's also correct that we should try to beat our family's expectation to make them happy, I totally agree from that but, many times family's expectations can become become burden on someone beacuse I have noticed and mostly in India, if a student scores 79% in his exams then, his family says that if you would get 1% more then it would be 80%, but fine! This word 'fine' can hurt someone's own heart because a person who has worked hard for something he only knows that how much time and hardwork it took him to achieve his goal.

But, family doesn't understand this and this causes a pressure on person, not only on a student but, also on a working person. Like a person earning 25k per month and he is happy from his salary and he can easily handle his family's expenditure but, his one of the elder says that if would be earning 5K more then, we could buy this , that and whatever but, they don't see that the person is working only for his family with lots of expectations from his family in return of his success and hardwork but, what he gets in return only fine but, this is actually not fine.

So, for today, this much only; till then, goodbye.

I think the lesson is that you should always look to improve yourself. Is not about the grade, is not about the salary, is to always aim higher. Settling for a mediocre job is always a comfortable choice but is a choice that you will end up regretting. You go to school to use your brain to solve problems, yet when you are adult, you no longer using it to get ahead. Many people are happy with a 9-5 job, and they lack the ambition to give that extra 1% to improve from last year. As a student your family is your parents, as an adult your family is your wife and kids, so improving and getting ahead and achieving a better quality of living might be recognized by your wife and kids. Again, is not about taking it personal is about learning the real lesson of being ambitious and competitive. As a society we want to be more competitive than before, society moves forward, cost of living keeps getting more expensive and our capacity to produce money needs to be constantly increasing. Whenever is a second job, a side hustle a potential business etc.
