হৃদমাজারে

দেখেছি চলেছি এ ধরায় কত! বহু দিন মাস করেছি গত। খুঁজিয়া ফিরিছি প্রাণের দোসর কেটে যে গেছে কত না বছর!
কত না প্রহর কত দিন রাত জাগিছে চিতে কতই না সাধ! সৃজিল ভূলোকে কোন মহাজন? হেরাবে মোদেরে কেন কে কখন?
কত কী ভেবে ভূ-ধরা চলি প্রাণের কথা কারে যে বলি! ভুবনও ব্যাপিয়া কত না অম্লান নষ্ট যে যায় বৃথাই বহিয়া।
এসেছি অচেনা বিজন পথে দেখা মেলেনি তবুও তাতে। আপন আলয়ে ফিরিয়া দেখি গোপন হৃদয়ে কে যেন ডাকি।
প্রাণের মাঝেই রয়েছে বাঁশি নিত্য বাজায় হৃদয় বাঁশি। চক্ষু মেলে পাই না যারে তাঁরই ছবি এ হৃদমাজারে।
In the Core of the Heart
English Version:
How much have I seen and walked upon this earth! Many a day and month have passed by.I wander in search of a soulmate, Oh how many years have slipped away!
So many moments, so many days and nights, How many desires wake up in my mind! Which great soul created this earthly world? Who will guide us, why, and when?
Thinking of so many things, I walk this earth, To whom do I speak the words of my soul? Spreading across the universe, so much untarnished beauty Goes to waste, flowing away in vain.
I have come along an unknown, lonely path, Yet, no encounter has happened there.Returning to my own abode, I look inside, As if someone calls out within my secret heart.
The flute resides right inside the soul, Constantly playing the melody of the heart.The one whom I cannot find by opening my eyes, Their image rests right here, in the core of my heart.
