বেলাশেষের গান-

বহুকাল গেল বিশ্ব ভূতলে বহুপথ ধরে ছুটেছি চলে। বহুজনা মুখ বন্ধু স্বজন দেখেছি ভুবনে, জেনেছি আপন।
সংসার স্রোতে কেটেছে বেলা অচেনা পথে ফিরি একেলা। দিবসের আলো হয়েছে ম্লান গগনে রবি অন্তমান।
পথের শেষে মহাসিন্ধু ওপারে ডাকিছে জগৎবন্ধু। সমূখে ওঠে সিন্ধুজল আঁধার নামিছে ধরণীতল।
গগনে বজ্র বৈরী মেঘ প্রবল হলো পবন বেগ। উথালপাথাল সফেন জল উঠল কেঁপে হিয়াতল।
ঊর্মিমুখর সিন্ধুজলে পারের তরি নৃত্যে দোলে। ঘূর্ণি হাওয়ায় ছিঁড়ছে পাল ছুটছে তরি বেসামাল।
বাজিছে বেলাশেষের গান অচিন সুরে উতলা প্রাণ। ভূতল মায়া ছিন্ন করি অসীম পানে মানব তরি।
নিখিল জগৎ সৃষ্টি যার মানবকুলেই দৃষ্টি তার। সৃষ্টিতে তাঁর কৃপা ভারি ভিড়ায় তীরে মানবতরি।

A long time has passed on this earthly ground, Running along many paths, bound and unbound.Many faces, friends, and kin so dear,I have seen in this world and held them near.
Life's hours drifted away in the worldly stream, Now I return alone down a path unknown, it seems.The daylight has grown pale and dim, The sun is setting over the sky's rim.
At the end of the path lies the vast ocean wide, The Friend of the Universe calls from the other side.The ocean waves swell and rise in sight, As the earth sinks into the darkness of night.
Thunder cracks in the sky from hostile clouds, The fierce, wild wind roars aloud.The foaming waters churn and roll, Shaking the very depths of my soul.
