Far from fleeing the danger and magic that envelops every corner, Himari decides to confront her destiny and stay among supernatural creatures, defying the rules of both realms. Her desire to free Aoi from the curse and the affection she has developed for them all gives her the courage to remain in the mansion. Will Himari manage to reclaim her true home, or will she end up consumed by the dark secrets of her own lineage? And most importantly: is there any way to break the tragic fate that keeps Aoi chained to the mansion before it's too late?
Personal opinion
This, without a doubt, what motivated me to watch it was the image of the fox; it reminded me of Kamisama Hajimemashita and Inu x Boku SS, so that's why I gave it a chance. Now, the mythology is fascinating, because the idea that the house isn't just a setting, but a living, almost parasitic boundary plane that devours the existence of its guardian to maintain balance, gives it a dark and tragic touch, which I feel is well done. The only thing is that the pacing isn't well handled. Trying to cram world-building, ayakashi folklore, the mystery of the mansion, and the romantic development into just 12 episodes makes the narrative feel rushed.
As for the characters, Himari is no passive damsel; she has character, reclaiming her home is her priority, and she isn't easily intimidated by supernatural beings. On the other hand, the "found family" dynamic between Himari, Aoi, Yukari, and Ise is very harmonious and adds warmth to the story. Although I must admit that the protagonist, Aoi, didn't particularly impress me; he lacked development and presence. I don't know, that's just my humble opinion.
Finally, the animation, very beautiful, is aesthetically appealing, as it is detailed, elegant, and stylized, resembling manga art. The story, like almost all of them, holds a message, and I liked this one very much because here we understand that, for the girl, a home is not a physical property, but the place where there are people waiting for you. For Aoi, the house was a prison; thanks to Himari, it becomes a refuge.

Hoy les traigo una buena recomendación que, ojo, hay que buscar el manga para saber en que finaliza, pero tampoco te desagradará la manera en como termino, así que espero les guste y se animen de verla.

Opinión personal
Este, sin duda alguna lo que me motivó a verlo fue la imagen del zorro, me hacía recordar a Kamisama Hajimemashita y a Inu x Boku SS, así que, por eso le di una oportunidad; ahora bien, la mitología es fascinante, pues la a idea de que la casa no sea solo un escenario, sino un plano frontera vivo y casi parásito que devora la existencia de su guardián para mantener el equilibrio, le da un toque oscuro y trágico siento que está bien logrado. Lo único es que el ritmo no está bien manejado, al ntentar meter la construcción de mundo, el folclore de los ayakashi, el misterio de la mansión y el desarrollo romántico en tan solo 12 episodios hace que la narrativa se sienta apresurada.
En cuanto a los personajes, Himari no es una damisela pasiva; tiene carácter, reclamar su hogar es su prioridad y no se deja intimidar fácilmente por seres sobrenaturales. Por otro lado, la dinámica de "familia encontrada" entre Himari, Aoi, Yukari e Ise es de lo más armonioso y que le da calidez a la historia. Aunque debo admitir que el protagonista Aoi si no me impactaba mucho, le falto como mejor desarrollo y presencia, no sé, es mi humilde opinión.
Por último, la animación, muy hermosa, estéticamente atrae, ya que es detallada, elegante y estilizada, asemejándose al arte del manga. La historia, como casi todas, guardan un mensaje, y esta me gustó mucho, porque aquí comprendemos que, para la chica, un hogar no es una propiedad física, sino el lugar donde hay personas que te esperan. Para Aoi, la casa era una prisión; gracias a Himari, se convierte en un refugio.
Puntos positivos…
- El diseño de personajes es hermosa y estilizado.
- La mitología y el concepto de la casa: La premisa de una mansión que actúa como portal vivo y prisión espiritual añade una capa de misterio interesante que va más allá del simple romance.
