Hello, dear friends at @topfamily It’s a pleasure to participate in this new #JuevesTBT Contest and look back on pleasant moments.

I’m reminiscing about some lovely moments with my son—specifically, the times we played Scrabble. It’s a great activity for his age because it helps him not only recognize letters but also form words. At first, he would just make up random things, haha, but at least it kept him active and curious about new vocabulary. Sometimes I would build a word and he’d ask what it meant, or if he wanted to form one himself, he’d ask for the correct spelling if he was unsure. We both really enjoyed it; it was a nice change of pace—especially since it got him away from the TV for a while. He does play other games, of course, but this was something different.
In the end, these kinds of games not only provide a distraction but also help teach the little ones. At first, I thought he might find it boring—since there were no pictures or drawing involved and he’s still quite young—but it actually really caught his interest. He found the way the letters were placed on the board entertaining, which was great; it seemed to help him focus and stay engaged rather than just giving up. Instead, he looked for ways to progress and understand the game, discovering new words and trying to beat me—haha, he loved that; he seemed to have a bit of a competitive streak!

I invite @yaslenysofia to participate in today's #TBT.
