Hello, dear friends at @Womentribe—greetings and blessings. Today, I’m here to share my thoughts on the Post by @syllem and I invite @yaslenysofia to participate in it.

I’m someone who generally dislikes routines—even though they are sometimes unavoidable, especially when you need to stay in control or ensure nothing gets overlooked—and I enjoy doing something different that breaks the mold. Although stepping out of my comfort zone bothers me at first, taking that moment to do something new really helps; it’s necessary not only because doing the same thing over and over can be draining, but also because doing something different often yields better results and energizes you—leaving you feeling renewed—which is why it’s so beneficial to make that change.

However, balancing work and caring for my son turns my life into a strict routine; taking brief or even moderately long breaks—simple yet meaningful moments—can transform a day spent constantly on the go. For instance, going to the park with my son in the afternoon, playing a sport with him, or even just grabbing a pizza for a change of pace is always pleasant. Likewise, taking a moment to visit family helps me step out of my usual routine—especially lately, when it has been nothing but work and staying home. While the economic situation makes it hard to avoid that grind, it shouldn't stop us from taking a moment to break away from the everyday; no matter how small, such a break can have a huge impact, giving us the strength to carry on with our daily lives.

As for my social circle, although I’ve lost touch with some friends from school or university—whether because they’re abroad or simply busier than I am—I’m actually at peace with that. That said, now that my son has switched schools, I often talk to the mothers of some of his classmates and have struck up good friendships; this change in my routine has brought me happy moments and allowed me to learn from them, as well as providing a nice break from the usual grind. From my perspective, no matter how small the changes you make are, as long as they make you feel good, calm, and satisfied with what you’re doing, then everything is fine—and things can move forward positively along that path.

Thank you very much for reading. I hope you enjoy it. I would be happy to answer any comments, and if you would like to know more about me, here are my:
