Hello, dear friends at @MoviesTvShows. Greetings and blessings! Today I’m here to talk to you about a movie that I really liked when I first saw it. I recently watched it on TV, and as I was reminiscing about it, I decided to write a post to share my thoughts on it. I’ll start with a brief overview of what Ratatouille is about.

This is the story of Remy, a rat who, unlike the others, thought differently. He was much more interested in making food than in eating it. Of course, as a rat, that was impossible, but thanks to a book titled *Anyone Can Cook*, written by a famous chef, his interest in cooking grew even more. It was undoubtedly crazy, but for Remy, it could be his greatest dream coming true. However, after being separated from his friends and losing that precious book, he ends up at a very well-known restaurant in Paris, where he meets Alfredo, a young man who had just started working at the restaurant—but as a dishwasher; he wasn’t very good at cooking.

In the midst of all this, Remy and Alfredo meet, although at first Alfredo wants to kill him because having rats inside a restaurant is unsanitary—and, quite apart from that, they’d blame him for not getting rid of it. This creates a dilemma between them, until somehow Alfredo realizes that Remy knows how to cook. I don’t understand how, since he can’t talk to the rat, but his actions and handling of the food are genuine. So he comes up with an idea that’s a bit crazy but benefits both of them: Remy guides him in cooking, and Alfredo acts as his hands and public face so that no one discovers who’s really doing the cooking. For Remy, this is a way to fulfill his dreams of cooking; however, staying in the kitchen won’t be all that simple—and at the same time, it’ll be complicated.

So both of them will have to find a way to maintain hygiene and still manage to cook delicious meals without knowing who’s doing it. It’s a story that—even though you might think, “Ew, a rat is gross”— especially in my memory—when I saw it, I thought, “I don’t like them; they scare me a little.” But seeing them like that, I then thought, “Why aren’t the real ones like that?” Haha, you wouldn’t be so scared, and despite everything, the story finds a way not to portray them as entirely unpleasant but rather to show a better side of their interaction with humans, likewise, not to cause discomfort but, on the contrary, to show a different side to them—I find it a story that captivates you and teaches you that there are no limits when you want to fulfill your dreams.
