Hello, dear friends at @Mundohispano! Greetings and have a great day. Today, let's take a look at the Post From @annafenix and @brujita18, I'm here to write about this.

Speaking of smells, mannerisms, or textures that help us recognize someone even when we don’t see them face-to-face—this often happens on certain occasions, especially if that person consistently exhibits those traits— at least when it comes to cologne. At my house, for example, my dad usually wears a specific cologne; when he puts it on and I’m somewhere else, as soon as I smell it, I know he’s nearby—without even having to look for him—because that scent is so distinctive. Well, I remember having a friend like that in college. I’d be studying, and he’d come up behind me—that is, I’d have my back turned, and he’d approach without saying a word. Before he even played a prank on me, I already knew it was him. Of course, I thought I had eyes in the back of my head, haha, or that someone had told me, but in reality, it was because of his scent. I didn’t know exactly what perfume it was; it was just that he wore it so consistently, and the way it smelled, I knew it was him.

Since there are smells that leave such a strong impression on our senses that they somehow help you identify that person—even when they’re not there—because sometimes I’ve smelled the perfume of someone who’s no longer with us, and right away I remember who they were because of that scent. That sense is so powerful that it’s inevitable for memories to come to mind just from a smell—or even from a laugh. At home, I have an aunt who—well—when she laughs, she bursts out laughing really loudly. You can be on the other side of the room, and when you hear her laughing, you know it’s her because it’s so distinctive, hehe. I remember that when I was little, I had an aunt who smelled like talcum powder. Like my grandmother, she liked to put on talcum powder instead of perfume, and it gave off a baby-like scent that reminds me of her every time I use it.

Smells and gestures not only help us recognize the people close to us, but they also remind us of those who are no longer with us. It’s a different way—one that’s not the usual one—to keep them in our thoughts or recognize them even when we don’t see them directly. Smells—especially those of citrus fruits—really remind me of an aunt of mine. Every time she came home, I knew it was her because she always smelled that way. hehe, it was a body lotion she always used, and the scent lingered on her for a long time—it felt as if she had the fruits right there on her. These are scents that, even as time goes by, you never forget.
Thank you very much for reading. I hope you enjoy it. I'd be happy to answer any comments, and if you'd like to know more about me, here are my:
