O realmente has hecho lo que has querido y soñado?

From the moment we’re born, values and dreams are instilled in us—some of which we may make our own, while others we leave behind along the way. As we grow, we develop new dreams and new goals, and perhaps we abandon some of them. This week’s initiative, thanks to my friend @carisma77, touches on this a bit. I invite you to see yourself where you want to be—not where others have placed you or think you should be. Is your life a reflection of other people’s opinions—your parents’, family’s, or friends’? Or have you truly done what you’ve wanted and dreamed of?
I’ve always thought that sometimes I wanted to please my parents and, in some way, fulfill part of their dreams; that was during my childhood and adolescence, but as I grew up, those dreams changed, and I began to live my life exactly as I envisioned it and as I wanted it. I’m where I’ve always wanted to be, and although I’ve wanted to go further, perhaps I haven’t achieved it on my own because I need more drive—but no one has influenced where I am; the opinions of others haven’t really led me away from my convictions.
I think those opinions used to affect me in some way, but they haven't affected me for a long time now. I've learned that opinions—even those of my family—can't affect me, nor do they matter, because my own opinions come first for me. You have to be firmly focused on what you want so that no one can influence your opinions.
I love that I’ve always done what I’ve wanted to do. Sometimes people called me stubborn, but in the end, I achieved everything I set out to do. Even today, I feel that when I set my mind to achieving something, I succeed, and I know I still have many goals left to accomplish. I know that in God’s hands—He is the only one who guides my path—I can achieve them.
