Now I find it very easy to learn new things, but I also find it very easy to forget them.

Hello

How are you all? Welcome back to my blog. I hope we'll always be together and united by this great community.

I realize that I'm not young anymore, making it very difficult to learn or remember new things, especially those I've learned in my studies. I recently completed my undergraduate nursing degree and am now a graduate. However, I've realized my weaknesses in the learning process.

Every new nursing lesson taught by my lecturers, I can understand very quickly and immediately digest it in my mind. I can easily repeat the lesson, practice it, and collaborate with my existing knowledge. It feels very easy, and I can immediately understand it even if the lecturer only explains it once.

However, my weakness is that after just a few months, the knowledge has faded from my mind. Even if I'm asked about my undergraduate studies, most of it has faded from my memory, though not completely. I don't know if it's because I'm overloaded or if my memory is no longer strong. What I wonder is why most of the lessons I remember are... Back when I was in diploma and vocational high school,

Learning new things was actually very easy for me. I often learned things from my teachers and YouTube. It didn't take long for me to understand them, and I could immediately put them into practice. However, unfortunately, what I learned would quickly fade from my memory after a few months. I realized this was my biggest weakness.

Sometimes I had to repeat what I'd learned over and over again to remember it. I also used special notes on things I learned. Realizing my memory weakness, I now rely more on notes to remember anything I learned about new things.

I often heard advice from my teacher. He said, learning as a child is like carving on stone, learning as an adult is like carving on water. I didn't realize that saying and wasn't really convinced or understood until I experienced it myself. Now, I've realized that the advice that if we learn something when we're young is true, it will stay with us into adulthood. Even if it's very difficult to learn something at that time, if we learn it as an adult, it will quickly fade and be forgotten, even if it was very easy to learn at that time.

So, in conclusion, there's almost nothing I can't learn now. In fact, I find it very easy to learn something new, especially if I'm truly focused and free from distractions. However, my weakness, as I mentioned earlier, is that I can't remember what I've learned even after a few months. Do you feel the same way? Or, conversely, can you learn new things easily and remember them?

I don't know what will happen in the future with my memory, whether it will be strong again. I've tried several ways to restore it, such as adjusting my diet, adjusting my mindset, adjusting my sleep patterns, adjusting my exercise schedule, managing stress, and consuming plenty of protein and fruit. I also try memorizing things. I do all of these things to train my memory to become stronger.
