Does my blog have personality?

I think personality is something you develop over time.

I was reading @acidyo's post, Does your blog has character?, and it’s a question I asked myself back when I was first creating content on Hive and trying to find my voice on my own blog.

I think I was always clear from the start that I wanted to write about social commentary—maybe a bit of politics—gardening, and my day-to-day life. Above all, what you see on my blog are my thoughts.

I feel like I haven't struggled much with the actual writing, but I have had trouble with visual identity.

That’s why, a while back, I created a template in Canva. It gives my cover images a certain level of consistency.

At the same time, though, it’s my blog; I don’t want it to be perfect—I want it to reflect who I am, so you see a bit of everything.

As for AI... I hate using it. For me, writing is a hobby—something I do every day. Sometimes I write here, other times on my gardening blog, or I might jot down a few verses or full poems in my planner.

I love writing, and I think using AI to do it would feel dishonest.

I’m not worried about AI coming to harm us, either; we know AI has no consciousness or feelings—it’s indifferent to everything. But, honestly, I hope that if it does happen, it’s another 150 years down the line. That way, I won't have to live through it.

Thinking about it bothers me a bit. I think if it does happen, I’ll just walk away from everything—that’s it. I’m not going to deal with some stupid, cheap machine.

However, I do think it will affect Hive, which is why I believe investment and innovation are crucial for adapting to the changes coming to the world.
