Good morning, Summoners! This is @zusi78. I have been busy with other things of late, hence I have not posted for some days now. Hope you are doing great in your various brackets? I welcome you to my blog.
This season I finally made my first big purchase with the Glints I had accumulated. I decided to invest 100,000 Glints into 200 Minor Chests at Gwen’s Glint Shop. The experience was genuinely satisfying because I managed to pull a Legendary card — Skrag the Gnaw.
Before opening the chests, I stocked up on Alchemy potions. I deliberately avoided Legendary potions because my main goal was to chase at least one Gold Foil card. I wasn’t particularly expecting a Legendary, so pulling Skrag the Gnaw came as a very pleasant surprise.
I have been buying Minor Chests for a while now, and this is the first time I have been rewarded with a card of this rarity. It feels especially rewarding after consistent smaller spends without hitting anything this high.
Quick Context on the Pull
In Gwen’s Glint Shop, Minor Chests offer a solid mix of rewards (cards, potions, Merits, Energy, and a tiny Jackpot chance). When a card does drop, Legendaries are quite rare — roughly 0.1% of card pulls in Minor Chests under the current rates. Landing one without using Legendary potions makes the result even sweeter.
OPENING THE 200 CHESTS
This my second copy of Skrag The Gnaw.
Skrag the Gnaw is a Legendary Earth melee monster (Gnome bloodline). He is a durable frontline option with solid stats and a strong ability kit that includes Poison Burst (and more as he levels). He is a welcome addition to my collection and should see play in the right Earth lineups.
In addition, apart from pulling the legendary card, I earned a lot of merits, and some of my common and rare cards have now leveled up. This is one reason I invest in buying chests. As you acquire more copies, these cards level up in terms of speed, armor, health and unlock abilities as well.
Overall, this was a fun and successful first major Glint spend of the season. Sometimes the RNG gods smile on you when you least expect it. Looking forward to putting Skrag to work in the battles ahead!
