Intentionally Black

@wwwiebe has started a new Photo Challenge for 2020 And Created a new Account for the challenge,@photo52, the introductory post for this challenge can be found here Photo52 Challenge Post and this weeks challenge here

I thought it is such a cool idea and decided to try and join as often as I can, this weeks theme is Black and hence my title Now it does State in the post

a person takes one photo every week based on a pre-defined weekly theme

This weeks theme is black and I went for a walk yesterday looking for shots that would fit the category, and I will include those later inthe post as well but for my entry for this contest I have gone for a Black and White image of the iced up fountain at Bryant Park also taken this week as an option for this contest, I do have other shots of it to edit which may well go in a future post

This was the other shot I was debating to use as my entry the lamp inthe shot is black but I thought this shot worked best in B&W

And another option I had with the cool black street lamp and the black on the stained glass windows of the Central Synagogue in Manhattan on Lexington by 55th Street.

Nice shots! I am hoping I can get out a little more this Summer and use my better camera to take some shots. It is all going to depend on my memory though. I often take the other camera on trips, but then when we go out and about, I forget it back at the trailer :)

You know I loved that fountain!! It just gets better and better throughout the winter! You really nailed the black!

Although the lamp posts are awesome and so cool, I have no idea why that lock really took my attention.

The bike lock photo is so vivid! The kids walking in the sidewalk... quaint and yet so very citylife, all because of the color finish you chose for that photo. You did it and titled your post Intentionally Black 😉 but the title matches the theme and the photos very well.

The street lamps you have photographed are looking very cool and I like them. I have no idea about street photography, bu tI like that shot of the woman walking behind the street lamp.
