The Upper Duck Pond

Well before Christmas I flooded my feed with so many festive posts, well Christmas is over and back to my normal routine both with posts and activity here on Steemit now that I am back home and getting back to normal.

For this post, I will share some shots from back when the fall colors were out by the Upper Duck pond here in Milford CT, Starting with a shot of this Lending Library by the Upper Duck Pond, this one must have been added sometime this year and maybe even in late summer or Autumn as I had not noticed it before, I am seeing these appearing in lots of places these days and think its such a great idea

And here we are looking along the water and what is the called the Upper Duckpond, with a charming old stone bridge surrounded by lovely fall colors, with the cold and grey days we have had for a couple of weeks now I don't know about you but I needed some natural colors and hence this post

This Stretch of green has bridges at both ends, this one at the other end a more modern bridge

I do love the charm of the older Stone bridge, but wiuth the colorful ivy growing over this bridge in Autumn gives it a nice chamr as well

And finishing off with my favorite shot in this spot, a bridge fall color and some nice reflections, all things I love when taking photos, plus the bonus of some nice clouds in the sky

How lovely to see these after the Christmas season has gone to the wayside. Is there any way we can bring this back to reality, without having to wait until next fall?

My neighborhood is so very colorless and bland looking. This looks like a dream I once had. :)

Each season offers something different, this extravagant show of colour across the water with blue skies, puffy white clouds in last photograph is breathtakingly beautiful.

Nice photos! That is an awesome community library. My wife wants me to build one to put out by the side of the road in front of our house. There is one over by my in-laws and she always comments on it when we drive by. I am not sure how much I will be on over the next week so have a Happy New Year!
