A few months ago when I went to the movies to see Jurassic World: Dominion, which by the way I did not like, I was looking forward to see some other movies after seeing their trailers, including Thor: Love and Thunder, which unfortunately I could not see on the big screen, but to my surprise since the 8th of this month is available on Disney+, so I could enjoy it and I will share my impressions about it.

In this fourth installment of Thor, as has become customary since his previous film brings a touch of comedy, which plays very well who gives life to Thor, the actor Chris Hemsworth, now well, this fourth film called much my attention the plot because they are the events that occur after The Avengers: Endgame, when Thor decides to go to travel the universe with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Now, at the beginning of the movie we are shown a man who goes with his daughter through the desert and the girl as the weakest link dies which leaves her father devastated as he had prayed to his god for help, so after the death of his daughter comes to his presence and to his surprise the god whom he and his people served faithfully, turns out to be a scoundrel who mocks him and his tragedy, besides telling him that neither his people nor his daughter are in the afterlife because that does not exist, before such a revelation this man is unhinged and takes a sword that is the only weapon with the ability to kill gods, and Gorr becomes the Butcher of the Gods.

Thus, this character who becomes the antagonist swears to kill all the gods, it should be noted that for me this interpretation that comes from the hand of Christian Bale, is the best performance of this film, because it really gives the size for this character who is poisoned and upset, because he believed all his life in something that was a lie and it was revealed to him in such a cynical way, after losing his daughter, so this actor plays a great role, as we see how he changes from a man of faith, to a complete soulless that is consumed by the power of the sword and is capable of anything.

On the other hand, within this whole story we see the love drama of Thor and Jean Foster, who has been diagnosed with cancer and at the same time discovers that the Mjolnir responds and transforms her into a Thor and that during her transformations she looks perfectly healthy, so here is another aspect to highlight the great makeup that they do to the actress Natalie Portman, to make her look like she is really in a terminal stage of cancer.

As for the comedy touch of the film as usual and as I mentioned Chris Hemsworth plays it wonderfully, at the beginning of the film is accompanied by Chris Pratt who also know his gifts in terms of comedy, but the big surprise here is the performance of Russell Crowe, as Zeus, who makes us laugh with his performance and in the scenes in which this actor appears also take the opportunity to exploit the physique of the handsome protagonist in a scene both funny and sexy.

A detail that I really enjoyed about the film was its soundtrack, since, out of 12 songs, 4 are from the remembered Heavy Metal band. Guns and Roses, now about the ending I really didn't expect it, so it was nice to see how it concludes because it wasn't something like a fairy tale where everything is perfect.

Finally, I can say that Thor: Love and Thunder, is an option to spend a good time of entertainment in front of the screen, so I encourage you to see it and if you have seen it, feel free to share with me your impressions and opinions in the comments box.

Hace unos meses cuando fui al cine a ver si mal no recuerdo Jurassic World: Dominion, que por cierto no me gusto, quede con la expectativa de ver algunas otras películas tras ver sus trailers, entre ellas Thor: Amor y Trueno, la cual lamentablemente no pude ver en la gran pantalla, pero para mi sorpresa desde el 08 de este mes esta disponible en Disney+, así que pude disfrutarla y compartiré mis impresiones sobre la misma.

En esta cuarta entrega de Thor, como se ha hecho costumbre desde su película anterior trae su toque de comedia, la cual interpreta muy bien quién le da vida a Thor, el actor Chris Hemsworth, ahora bien, de esta cuarta película llamo mucho mi atención la trama pues son los eventos que ocurren luego de Los vengadores: Endgame, cuando Thor decide irse a recorrer el universo con los Guardianes de la Galaxia.

Ahora bien, al iniciar la película nos muestran a un hombre que va con su hija por el desierto y la niña como el eslabón mas débil muere lo que deja a su padre desolado ya que había rogado a su dios por ayuda, así tras la muerte de su hija llega a su presencia y para su sorpresa el dios a quien él y su pueblo servían fielmente, resulta ser un canalla que se burla de él y su tragedia, además de decirle que ni su pueblo ni su hija están en el mas allá pues eso no existe, ante tal revelación este hombre se desquicia y toma una espada que es la única arma con la capacidad de matar dioses, así Gorr se Convierte en al Carnicero de los Dioses

Así, este personaje quien pasa a ser al antagonista jura matar a todos los dioses, cabe destacar, que para mí esta interpretación que viene de la mano de Christian Bale, es la mejor actuación de esta película, pues de verdad da la talla para este personaje quien esta envenenado y molesto, pues creyó toda su vida en algo que era una mentira y le fue revelado de una manera tan cínica, tras haber perdido a su hija, así este actor hace un gran papel, pues vemos como cambio de un hombre de fe, a un completo desalmado que se va consumiendo por el poder de la espada y que es capaz de todo.

Por otro lado, dentro de toda esta historia vemos el drama amoroso de Thor y Jean Foster, quien ha sido diagnosticada con Cáncer y al mismo tiempo descubre que el Mjolnir le responde y la transforma en una Thor y que durante sus transformaciones luce perfectamente sana, así que aquí hay otro aspecto a resaltar el gran maquillaje que le hacen a la actriz Natalie Portman, para hacerla lucir como que realmente se encuentra en una etapa terminal de cáncer.

En cuanto al toque de comedia de la película como es costumbre y ya mencioné Chris Hemsworth lo interpreta de maravilla, al comienzo de la película está acompañado por Cris Pratt de quien también conocemos sus dotes en cuanto a comedia, pero la gran sorpresa aquí es la actuación de Russell Crowe, como Zeus, quien nos hace reír con su interpretación y en las escenas en las que este actor aparece aprovechan también para explotar el físico del guapísimo protagonista en una escena tanto graciosa como sexy.

Un detalle que disfrute muchísimo de la película fue su banda sonora, ya que, de 12 canciones, 4 son de la recordaba banda de Heavy Metal. Guns and Roses, ahora sobre el final realmente no lo esperaba, así que fue algo grato ver como concluye pues no fue algo tipo cuento de hadas donde todo es perfecto.

Finalmente, puedo decir que Thor: Amor y Trueno, es una opción para pasar un buen rato de entretenimiento frente a la pantalla, así que los animo a verla y de haberla visto, siéntase en toda la libertad de compartir conmigo sus impresiones y opiniones en el cajón de comentarios.
