It Takes Two

Review by @afrikens 🏆#91 🔥13 🎵52 🎬19 📺10 · 4h · of It Takes Two · 2 views

Trust me when I say I had a really good time seeing this movie, lol. I never thought I would enjoy myself so much watching even though I was skeptical about the first few scenes because it was the same storyline with some movies I've seen before but I won't deny the fact that I really enjoyed this.

So, it takes two is an American romantic and comedy movie about an orphanage home that has these amazing kids because right from the first scene, you could tell they were. In the same scene was showing another location of a girl name Allysa who's the daughter of a rich man called Roger Callaway, playing piano to win a the champions cup and over there at the orphanage is another standout girl named Amanda who's about to be taken to the Buktis home for adoption interview and based on records, these couples never reject any child been brought to them no matter how bad the interview is.

Amanda could have loved that Diane Barrows who is one of their keepers in the orphanage adopt her but she couldn't because the agency said her salary wasn't fit to adopt a child plus she is single. Even Diana do not like these proposed couples and sincerely they look like clowns.

To cut the long story short, Allysa was about to receive the shock of her life when she met Clarice, a soon-to-be stepmother since her dad decided to remarry but that shouldn't be the problem if Clarice had been a nice lady but she wasn't.

One way or the other Allysa and Amanda got to meet in camp that was founded by Allysa's late mum and behold they were very very identical with no difference except the scars and bruises Amanda has on her. They switched roles since they would love each other's lifestyle for a while but in between they both fell in love with one another's guardian and parent and that is Roger and Diane of which they made their plans on getting them both together of which was successful because they both ended up having feelings for themselves and loved to be together but Roger is meant to get married by next month. 1000985126.jpg 1000985131.jpg

Unfortunately, Clarice got to see Diane and Roger together and decided to rush the wedding plans between her and Roger. So much that she couldn't even wait for her supposed father to walk her down the aisle to Roger. In between, Allysa was forcefully taken off by the Buktis while pretending to be Amanda and she had to be in her dad's wedding which shouldn't hold in the first place.

The movie is just a whole rollercoaster of laugh and funny scenes and even though I had watched a similar movie before, it still cracked me up a lot.

The actors acted their best and for a moment I thought it was just the usual one person acting dual roles in the case of Amanda and Allysa until I saw the list of cast and saw different names but same lastname. Kirstie Alley who acted as Diane Barrows, Steve Guttenberg as Roger Callaway, Mary-Kate Olsen as Amanda Lemmon, Ashley Olsen as Allysa Callaway, Jane Sibbeth as Clarice Kensington and many others....

It's a movie worth watching and I am quite sure you will enjoy yourself while watching.

I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the movie review.

Thanks for reading through 🤗

Sounds like something I'll really enjoy, I've not seen it, but I hope to do so pretty soon.

I remember this movie—it's a classic with those girls, haha—but it is pretty entertaining. It has its intense and funny moments; it's a story that's perfect for passing the time. It's definitely a great movie classic.
