Ride or Die - Season1 Ep6

Review by @afrikens 🏆#91 🔥15 🎵56 🎬20 📺11 · 5h · of Ride or Die

The mighty woman Whiptail is pinned down by being stabbed and the whole action keep moving on. I cant deny the fact that I was a bit scared in this episode but one thing held my hope high that actor no dey die, lol.

Even when I thought Billy had ran away with the art collections to be used in paying the Albanians back for the debt, he was right there waiting for Whiptail and Debbie in a boat and all thanks to that they were able to move away from the miserable party. This was even after they could have been killed eventually by the Albanian guys but Sam's guy gun them down.

I love how Sam did not totally neglect Whiptail even as he was threatened by the director to be murdered if any word came through him to Whiptail or anybody. Through this attempt of his, Whiptail was able to realize who her anonymous proposed killer is and that who she thought was dead is actually alive.

I found the scenes in this episode pitiful because while offenders are punished for their crimes, innocent people also suffer in their places and that's why I feel sorry for Diane (Queenie's mum) as she had to die in the hands of Redback as a payback to the director because I think the director and Diane were actually a thing before she left the agency which made Redback made that attempt on her to get to the director.

Debbie also sacrificed herself to save Whiptail from the interpol and Albanians and mehn even while Whiptail was still half-dying, her skill to kill was still very well activated and even the interpol was also amazed. So with this, I guess the friendship sacrifices are turning mutual on both sides but it's like there's more to know as Redback got to play Whiptail's tapes stolen from Diane's store and behold, Whiptail was mentioning using Debbie as a cover up for her mission. Ahhh this is really becoming confusing cos is it really now genuine love of friendship or a means of cover up?

This episode is really a revealing one and it was a movement of action enabling the characters to move around different locations while exhibiting their skills, with the killing scenes looking so deadly real and I'll really give it to them for the sustainability in delivering excellently well both cast and crew.

The series is still not having a successful lead but at least there's a heads-up now and we're actually leading somewhere but confusing though with the knots between whiptail and Debbie that might end up been a deceit, Redback been ordered to be killed by the director, Sam going against the order of the director, Albanian's son being killed and adding to the crimes of whiptail of Debbie etc. Are they really going to survive from this run or are they meant to stay on the run for life? I don't think that's possible.

I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the movie review.

Thanks for reading through 🤗

The thriller looks interesting, I bet it would be a good watch. Especially with friends described as bulletproof
