I just found out that literally a month later, or rather on January 24, the third season of Snowpiercer will start.
Due to the disaster that happened, the Earth has been in an ice age for several years. The series takes place seven years after the incident.
The remnants of mankind are in a huge train, driving non-stop through the snow on the planet. A rigid hierarchy reigns inside the train, and the oppressed poor people living in the tail end are not at all happy with this state of affairs.
The project was based on the 2013 South Korean film Through the Snow, which in turn was inspired by the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige.
Through the Snow is being developed by Josh Friedman, creator of Terminator: The Battle for the Future and The Emerald City.
