Synopsis:
Auggie Pullman, was born with a hereditary disease, and had to undergo several plastic surgeries. Initially, he was educated at home, but at the age of 10 he started to attend a school where he had to live a phase of adaptation that was not easy.
Review:
A captivating storyline, Auggie a boy who has Treaccher-Collins Syndrome, that is, craniofacial anomalies being a rare inherited disease, even after years of surgery his face remains deformed, and his mother chose to teach at home to protect her son from suffer a possible bullying at school.
But over the years there was no way to be stuck at home, Auggie needed to go to school at school, and as we already know, living among other children with differences is not easy.
The plot uses the imagination to deal with this obstacle, and August does not start going to school and trying to hide, wearing an astronaut helmet. Auggie's mother always tries to encourage and encourage him to react with dignity, and if she doesn't like where she is, she would tell him to imagine where he would like to be, and he always used her imagination.
In one of the scenes covered in the film Auggie reveals he is ashamed to eat close to other people, because he needs some adaptations to be able to eat and despite the difficulty he finds he still manages to eat with the other children.
