This is a comedy-drama film where mischief abounds, directed by Tim Hill known for playing the same role in several animated films, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Garfield 2, with a screenplay adapted from the children's book of the same name written by Robert Kimmel Smith.

The plot is set in Peter's house, starring Oakes Fegley, known for the films Pete's Dragon and The Fabelmans, where his grandfather, who has recently become a widower, arrives and after his daughter's insistence agrees to move in with them, which causes that due to the small size of the house he has to stay in the boy's room and he has to move to the attic.

With the help of his school friends, Peter declares war on his grandfather to get his room back and he accepts the challenge with some conditions.

Ed, the grandfather, played by the award-winning and well-known Robert De Niro, winner of 2 Oscar awards, one as best supporting actor in 1975 for the film The Godfather: Part II and another as best leading actor in 1981 for the film "Raging Bull" where he plays the boxer Jake La Motta, in addition to 5 more nominations throughout his extensive career as an actor, must endure the different pranks invented by his grandson, which as the confrontation progresses become harder, reaching the family nucleus.

Also part of the cast are Uma Thurman, Rob Riggle, Christopher Walken, Cheech Marin, among others.

The film was released in August 2020 and the opinion of the viewers was positive, although there were some who complained about some things, but the box office takings gave the reason to the first ones since the income exceeded 43 million dollars and the production cost was 18 million.

Personally, I saw it with my family and we enjoyed it very much, I thought it was excellent even though the family drama and children's antics have been exploited to the point of satiety in Hollywood, besides leaving a very clear message, war is not good.
