Well yes, yes it's only today that I saw the movie! It was long overdue I guess. But at least now, I finally have gathered enough knowledge and wisdom, to join the conversation on culture and representation. lolol The movie was fun though, maybe a bit too predictable(except for the very end) but, it was still a good experience.
Probably would have been better if there hadn't been so much hype surrounding it, that it gave me unrealistic expectations, which weren't met in the end. Hope it won't be the same with Deadpool 2, but we shall see! Highly doubt it though, the first 1 was too epic and since, I heard they didn't dial it down, I think it won't be a let down.
One question I now have though, which isn't even directly tied to the movie itself, is;
Hadn't Kendrick Lamar and TDE made a whole album, as a soundrack to the movie? Thought we'd hear at least a couple verses but, nada, niet, ntanimwe, nothing! So I really don't see what was the point, except maybe for, taking money from the gullible such as myse.. Wait, never mind. lol Gotta congratulate their hustle!
Anywho, what did you think of the movie?
