Hola querida comunidad de Hive, espero se encuentren bien. En esta ocasión quiero hablarles sobre una adaptación de Netflix, del primer libro de la saga de la hermana menor del famosísimo Sherlock Holmes, la cual dura dos horas y para mi humilde opinión es muy grata.
Hello dear Hive community, I hope you are well. This time I want to talk about a Netflix adaptation of the first book of the saga of the younger sister of the famous Sherlock Holmes, which lasts two hours and for my humble opinion is very pleasant.
El reparto está compuesto por, Millie Bobby como Enola Holmes, Louis Partridge como el Vizconde de Tewkesbury, Henry Cavill como el famosísimo Sherlock Holmes, Sam Claflin como el hermano amargad digo, Mycroft Holmes y nuestra querida Helena Bonham Caster como la mamá o sea Eudoria Holmes, esta es una producción del 2020 y fue dirirgida por Harry Bradbeer quien también realizo Killing Eve.
The cast is composed by Millie Bobby as Enola Holmes, Louis Partridge as the Viscount of Tewkesbury, Henry Cavill as the famous Sherlock Holmes, Sam Claflin as the bitter brother Mycroft Holmes and our dear Helena Bonham Caster as the mother Eudoria Holmes, this is a 2020 production and was directed by Harry Bradbeer who also made Killing Eve.
Nunca he leído los libros de Sherlock Holmes, considero que es una pena ya que el misterio es un género bastante interesante y emocionante, siempre me ha gustado más el drama que otra cosa pero ese no es el punto. El caso es que la película me parecido amena, su clasificación es +13 así que es ese tipo de película que puedes disfrutar en familia un domingo por la tarde sin esperar escenas incomodas con tus hijos, si bien la protagonista es menor tiene 16 hace que los más pequeños de la casa se sientan identificado.
I have never read the Sherlock Holmes books, I think it's a shame because the mystery is a very interesting and exciting genre, I've always liked the drama more than anything else but that's not the point. The thing is that I found the movie enjoyable, its rating is +13 so it is that kind of movie that you can enjoy with your family on a Sunday afternoon without expecting uncomfortable scenes with your children, although the protagonist is a minor she is 16 makes the youngest of the house feel identified.
La película trata de Enola, la desaparición de su madre y el caso del vizconde. Es un trabajo bastante limpio aunque hacen ver a la Inglaterra de aquella época algo sucia, a pesar de que dura dos horas la verdad me aburrir de cierta manera la primera cuarta parte de la película considerando que andaba lenta. Pero a medida que va pasando los minutos se va poniendo interesante ya que el misterio esta llegando a su climax, a pesar de que Sherlock Holmes es su hermano se puede decir que no tuvo un papel relevante en su historia.Algo que me gustó mucho es el tono frio de la paleta de colores, nunca pude ver colores de verdad alegres, aunque supongo que eso ayuda a creer que es una película seria. En lo personal Elona me pareció una chica valiente y un tanto metiche aunque eso está bien, porque ella es una mini detective, tiene un carácter fuerte y me agrado que solo la viera llorando en los momentos de verdad importante. Alguien que me agrado a pesar de haber sido un personaje secundario fue la madre, prácticamente todas las frases célebres las dice ella y con solo la haya interpretado Helena la hace mi personaje favorito.
The film is about Enola, the disappearance of her mother and the case of the viscount. It is a pretty clean work although it makes England of that time look a little dirty, although it lasts two hours, the truth is that the first quarter of the film bored me in a certain way considering that it was slow. But as the minutes go by it gets more interesting as the mystery is reaching its climax, even though Sherlock Holmes is her brother it can be said that he did not have a relevant role in her story, something I really liked is the cold tone of the color palette, I could never see really cheerful colors, although I guess that helps to believe that it is a serious movie. Personally I found Enola to be a brave and somewhat nosy girl although that's okay, because she's a mini detective, she has a strong character and I liked that I only saw her crying in the really important moments. Someone I liked even though she was a secondary character was the mother, practically all the famous phrases are said by her and the fact that she was only played by Helena makes her my favorite character.
Toca el feminismo hasta ciertos puntos y como la crianza no convencional se puede ver como un insulto a la sociedad, Enola es una persona bastante fuerte y meticulosa. La persona que le llego a brindar educación fue su madre, el pilar es su madre y por ello me da como disgusto que tome un poco fuera de rumbo su búsqueda en la película, Enola es esa clase de persona que la quieres simplemente por tener los pantalones y creo que es por el hecho de que quisieron hacer una versión similar a la del hermano.Una de las pocas cosas que me aburrido y me desagrado es que uno sentía cuando la protagonista hablaba con la cámara preguntándonos o diciéndonos cosas, siento que lo hacen con la intensión de que sintamos que nos involucran pero en verdad sentí que están es actuando y me desencanto, creo que es lo único que no llegue a tolerar pero de resto muy bien.
It touches on feminism to a certain extent and how unconventional parenting can be seen as an insult to society, Enola is a pretty strong and meticulous person. The person who got to provide her education was her mother, the pillar is her mother and that's why I kind of dislike that it takes a bit off course her quest in the movie, Enola is that kind of person that you love her just because she has the pants and I think it's because of the fact that they wanted to make a similar version of the brother. One of the few things that bored me and I disliked is that one felt when the protagonist was talking to the camera asking us or telling us things, I feel that they do it with the intention of making us feel that we are involved but I really felt that they are acting and I disenchanted, I think it is the only thing that I did not get to tolerate but otherwise very well.
Es una película la cual nos narra la historia de una chica que quiere encontrar a su madre y a medida que va en ese proceso descubre su vocación a descubrir misterios, es una película familiar que se puede disfrutar sin preocupaciones ya que no tiene contenidos eróticos. Considero que es un buen ejemplo para mostrarles a las niñas ya que Enola puede ser su modelo de inspiración para leer tanto como dice ella en la película, incluso para estudiar defensa personal. Es un modelo prematuro de una feminista y ese tipo de cosas están bien en películas de épocas para hacer una diferencia de las solo hablan de matrimonios arreglados aunque ese cliché me gusta jejeje .Enola tendrá otra película, donde veremos los mismo actores, la cual no tiene fecha precisa pero sale este 2022, espero que le den una oportunidad y disfruten la película.
It is a movie which tells the story of a girl who wants to find her mother and as she goes through this process she discovers her vocation to discover mysteries, it is a family movie that can be enjoyed without worries since it has no erotic content. I think it is a good example to show to the girls since Enola can be their model of inspiration to read as much as she says in the movie, even to study self-defense. It is a premature model of a feminist and that kind of things are good in movies of times to make a difference from the ones that only talk about arranged marriages although I like that cliché hehehe .Enola will have another movie, where we will see the same actors, which has no precise date but comes out this 2022, I hope you give it a chance and enjoy the movie.
