Hola linda comunidad de Hive, en esta ocasión vengo hablarles sobre una película de la plataforma Netflix, que se estrenó el año pasado, sinceramente había visto unas críticas no muy positivas de ella pero decidí juzgar por mí misma, aunque no sé cómo explicar el resultado.
Hello beautiful Hive community, this time I come to tell you about a movie on the Netflix platform, which was released last year, honestly I had seen some not very positive reviews of it but I decided to judge for myself, although I do not know how to explain the result.
En realidad esta es un reboot de “Ella es Así”, una película muy famosa de los años 90 por eso se puede decir que es una adaptación pero la película va de “Una chica influerncer acepta el desafío de transformar al chico raro de la escuela en el rey de baile de graduación”. Este es la sinopsis que nos ofrece netflix tal cual es una adaptación de la película anterior pero cambiaron los roles de género además de tener un trama más envasado en la actualidad con el tema de las redes sociales y los conflictos que acarrea la apariencia de la misma.
Actually this is a reboot of "She's Like That", a very famous movie from the 90's so you can say it is an adaptation but the movie is about "An influerncer girl accepts the challenge of transforming the weird guy from school into the prom king". This is the synopsis that offers us netflix as it is an adaptation of the previous film but they changed the gender roles in addition to having a plot more packaged in the present with the theme of social networks and the conflicts that brings the appearance of it.
Me dio un poco de nostalgia que nos podemos encontrar con actores que vivos en nuestra infancia tal y como es el caso de Madison Pettis como Aiden Pierce (la amiga hipócrita) y Peyton Meyer como Jordan Van (el ex), cabe destacar que me di de cuenta de ello fue a mitad de pelicula y me dio cosa ser tan despistada, de protagonistas tenemos a Addison Rae como Padggett y a Tanner Buchanan como Cameron, en realidad es la primera vez que veo su actuación.
It gave me a bit of nostalgia that we can find actors who live in our childhood such as Madison Pettis as Aiden Pierce (the hypocrite friend) and Peyton Meyer as Jordan Van (the ex), it should be noted that I realized it was halfway through the movie and I was so clueless, the main characters are Addison Rae as Padggett and Tanner Buchanan as Cameron, actually it is the first time I see his performance.
Me gustaron los colores, eran muy vivos y hacia que te gustara la imagen o las escenas creo que es algo rescatable junto la playlist que era muy pegadiza, por otro lado tenemos la trama, era absolutamente predecible si es una adaptación ¿verdad? O sea considero que las personas que la ven sabe desde el principio como va acabar haciéndola bastante cliché, cabe decir que lo cliché no está mal, como muchos los quieren hacer ver y me incluyo. Lo que está mal es que no se esfuercen un poco para cambiar un poco la puesta en escena aquí fue tan “ñe” no se esforzaron por cambiar un poco las cosas. Yo me reí de la ironía con muchas escenas además ya que son bastantes clichés y perdón por repetir esta palabra pero es que esto es un cliché de primera, otra cosa que puedo rescatar es que hacían parodias de otras películas como sucede con el baile de fiesta de grado que se parece mucho a la de “Chicas Blancas”.
I liked the colors, they were very vivid and made you like the image or the scenes, I think it is something to be rescued along with the playlist that was very catchy, on the other hand we have the plot, it was absolutely predictable if it is an adaptation, right? I mean I think that the people who see it know from the beginning how it will end up making it quite cliché, it should be said that the cliché is not bad, as many want to make them see and I include myself. What is wrong is that they did not make an effort to change a little the staging here was so "ñe" they did not make an effort to change things a little. I laughed at the irony with many scenes also because they are quite cliché and sorry for repeating this word but this is a first class cliché, another thing I can rescue is that they made parodies of other movies as happens with the prom dance that looks a lot like the one in "White Girls".
Puedo decir que la protagonistas me daba como pena desde un principio, aunque nunca me cayó mal tiene una buena vibra tal vez no es como de simpatizar con ella pero si se vio un avance en su aptitud creo que es lo más resaltante del asunto y el protagonista me pareció bonito y su aptitud de ermitaño del siglo XXI le quedo bien, nunca dijo mentira creo que era la parte más serena de la película haciendo ver que eso de querer la opinión de los demás y andar exhibiendo tu vida no está bien del todo.
I can say that I felt sorry for the protagonist from the beginning, although I never disliked her, she has a good vibe, maybe it's not to sympathize with her, but I think that's the most important part of the story, and the protagonist seemed nice and his 21st century hermit attitude was good, he never told a lie, I think it was the most serene part of the movie, showing that wanting the opinion of others and going around showing off your life is not good at all.
Quería llegar a esta parte, el mensaje que da o intenta dar la película además de ser una adopción si es original de cierta forma, me parece bien que hayan elegido una influercer para ser la protagonista ya que me pareció muy real mensaje que dio con respecto a la vida de aquellas personas que hace ver que son perfectas tal vez para no ser juzgada o para poder ser aceptadas, no justifico que ella haya querido aparentar una vida que no tiene pero es algo que pasa, además nosotros nos gustan ver eso ¿no? Ver la perfección de otras personas o de su vida en redes sociales, si no es para compararnos es para esperar que den un movimiento en falso y criticarlos, ya que muchas veces olvidamos e también son seres humanos.Me quiero quedar con esto de la película, sé que sigue siendo una película adolescente no muy trabajada y para muchos hasta mala, pero considero que si se puede pasar un buen rato con ella y además si vale la pena brindarle una oportunidad.
I wanted to get to this part, the message that gives or tries to give the film besides being an adoption if it is original in a way, I think it's good that they have chosen an influencer to be the protagonist because it seemed to me very real message she gave regarding the lives of those people who make people see that they are perfect perhaps not to be judged or to be accepted, I do not justify that she wanted to pretend a life that she does not have but it is something that happens, plus we like to see that right? Seeing the perfection of other people or their lives in social networks, if it is not to compare ourselves is to wait for them to make a false move and criticize them, as we often forget that they are also human beings.I want to stay with this of the film, I know it is still a teen movie not very worked and for many even bad, but I think that if you can have a good time with it and also if it is worth giving it a chance.
