El dia de hoy quiero venir hablarles sobre una película la cual es tendencia en Netflix y es que sinceramente me sorprendió de buena manera y hablo de “La Chica Más Afortunada del Mundo” una película que toca el tema de la victimización, abuso, traumas posteriores que pueden durar incluso años, así que comencemos.
Hello dear Hive community, I hope you are well. Today I want to come talk to you about a movie which is trending on Netflix and I was honestly surprised in a good way and I'm talking about "The Luckiest Girl in the World" a movie that touches the theme of victimization, abuse, subsequent traumas that can last even years, so let's start.
Tenemos a un elenco conformado por Mila Kunis,Finn Wittrock, Connite Britton, Jennifer Beals entre otros actores. La película va de una mujer quien es una chica de clase media la cual la está a punto de casarse con un chico millonario, ella es escritora y está a punto de conseguir el trabajo de su sueño, su vida soñada. Pero resulta que su pasado la persigue y su imagen esta manchada por las acusaciones que la señalan como una de las responsables de un tiroteo que hubo en la escuela la cual estudiaba, la película va dirigida a personas +18 y si considero que sea así, no es por las escenas de violencia si no en verdad por los temas que tratan.
We have a cast made up of Mila Kunis, Finn Wittrock, Connite Britton, Jennifer Beals among other actors. The movie is about a woman who is a middle class girl who is about to marry a millionaire guy, she is a writer and is about to get her dream job, her dream life. But it turns out that her past haunts her and her image is tarnished by accusations that point to her as one of those responsible for a shooting that took place in the school where she studied, the film is aimed at people +18 and if I consider it to be so, it is not for the scenes of violence if not really for the issues they deal with.
Hablando de los personajes puedo decir que Ani me había parecido una psicópata interesada en un principio no pude simpatizar con ella a mitad de película, lo pude hacer es cuando supe sus razones y su pasado. Quiero destacar un poco la actuación de la actriz porque me pareció un poco frívola y de poco sentimientos al principio pero me hizo verla como una rosa marchita cosa que me pareció que era lo que quería la película, puedo decir que con referente a los personajes secundarios me dieron fue como asco más que todo los hombres ninguno como tal tuvo un papel decente ya que si no eran violadores, asesinos he incluso su prometido es un promiscuo cosa que tampoco me agrado, la única que si puede simpatizar un poquitico fue con la madre.
Talking about the characters I can say that Ani had seemed to me an interested psychopath at first I could not sympathize with her in the middle of the film, I could do it is when I knew her reasons and her past. I want to highlight a little the performance of the actress because she seemed to me a little frivolous and with little feelings at the beginning but she made me see her as a wilted rose which I thought was what the film wanted, I can say that regarding the secondary characters I was disgusted more than all the men none of them had a decent role because if they were not rapists, murderers and even her fiancé is a promiscuous which I did not like either, the only one I can sympathize a little bit was with the mother.
Como trata el tema de la violación me pareció interesante porque no nos llegan a llenar con esto a un principio si no van desenvolviendo el trauma poco a poco, junto con acciones y recuerdos que hacen que tu hasta lo sientan, he visto películas que tratan este tema pero a nivel de largo plazo como esta, “Yo también fui una víctima pero nadie me trato como tal” fue una frase que me llego y me salió unas lágrimas en cuanto esta frase porque en realidad es la verdad de muchas mujeres que se ha quedado callada durante años por miedo e incluso por vergüenza que no le crean como en realidad pasan, el agresor aquí es una persona que se hace pasar por buena cuando en realidad lo que genera es “lastima” pero hasta el último momento nos dan entender que no ha cambiado nada, así como también siempre le van a creer el que tiene más “merito” y es que ¿la sociedad llega a ser muy hipócrita verdad?
I found it interesting how it deals with the theme of rape because they don't fill us with this at the beginning but they develop the trauma little by little, along with actions and memories that make you even feel it, I have seen movies that deal with this theme but at a long term level like this one, "I was also a victim but no one treated me as such" was a phrase that came to me and I had a few tears when I heard this phrase because it is actually the truth of many women who have remained silent for years out of fear and even shame that they don't believe them as they really are, the aggressor here is a person who pretends to be good when in reality what he generates is "pity" but until the last moment we are given to understand that nothing has changed, as well as they will always believe the one who has more "merit" and is that society becomes very hypocritical right?
En la película general me pareció muy sobria de principio a fin con respecto a las escenas, siempre eran tonos opacos y eso se notaba mucho con su pasado que si bien me pareció interesante como interconectaban los recuerdos de Ani con su presente, nunca me llegue a confundir a pesar de que se generaba la mayoría de las veces la misma escenas en su pasado y en la actualidad, algo que me gusto fue su voz en off siento que evito que hubiera tantas escenas de relleno para explicar ciertas cosas y me resulto agradable porque mostraba su verdadera personalidad en ella, “La Mujer Más Afortunada del Mundo” es una película bastante cruda a nivel emocional si ben para las personas que simpatizan con el dolor que puede sufrir alguien con una violación y si lamentablemente has sufrido de una, creo que te tocara el personaje, porque ella no es mala solo después de ese acto perdió incluso su identidad al solo querer defenderse. Si bien quede conforme con su final aunque tal vez lo hubieran podido desarrollar mejor me gusto le doy un 7/10 porque me gusto su mensaje y si a ti también te gusto déjame decirte que esta película en un libro.
In the overall film I found it very sober from beginning to end with respect to the scenes, they were always opaque tones and that was very noticeable with her past that although I found it interesting how they interconnected Ani's memories with her present, I never got confused even though most of the time the same scenes were generated in her past and in the present, Something I liked was her voice-over, I feel that it avoided that there were so many filler scenes to explain certain things and I found it nice because it showed her true personality in her, "The Luckiest Woman in the World" is a pretty raw movie on an emotional level if you sympathize with the pain that someone can suffer with a rape and if unfortunately you have suffered from one, I think you will touch the character, because she is not bad only after that act she lost even her identity just wanting to defend herself. While I was satisfied with the ending although perhaps they could have developed it better I like it I give it a 7/10 because I liked its message and if you also like it let me tell you that this movie in a book.
