Hola querida comunidad de Hive, espero se encuentren bien. Hoy quiero venir a hablarles sobre la continuación de una película que vi hace varios días, deje pasar el tiempo para que las impresiones y emociones de la primera parte, no anularan mi opinión objetiva con esta secuela ya que no debemos dar pon sentado que una continuidad es buena o mala por su primera película, por ello vi Tall Girll 2 ¿De verdad había necesidad de continuación?

Esta entrega de Netflix sigue contando la historia de Jodi quien a superado su complejo de altura y ahora es una persona más “segura” de si misma, consigue el papel principal de un recital en su escuela y gracias a ello sus inseguridades salen a flote perjudicándose a si misma y a su relación con Dunkleman, sinceramente me agradaron más los personajes y de cierta manera la “inseguridad” de Jodí más que la primera entrega aunque eso no quita que aún les falte mucho como para congeniar y conectar completamente en ello.Ya la altura no es un problema y eso es algo realmente bueno por qué no tiene ese enfasis tedioso de que su gran problema es cuanto mide y sus pies grandotes, ya no da coraje bueno no tanto como antes sus actitudes como también el cringe que daba Dunkleman disminuyó mucho. Algo que me molestó un poco son las transiciones de las ecenas y acciones. La mitad de la película estuvieron divagando sobre el mismo problema que en lo personal creo que se hubiera resuelto con comunicación. Algo que me resulto peculiar y me dio mucha gracias fue cuando su profesora de teatro le pregunto que si alguna vez a tenido un problema de verdad porque, ser alto no era uno pero vivir en la calle o no saber que comerás mañana si lo era.
This installment of Netflix continues to tell the story of Jodi who has overcome her height complex and is now a more "confident" person, she gets the lead role in a recital at her school and thanks to this her insecurities come to the surface hurting herself and her relationship with Dunkleman, honestly I liked the characters and in some ways the "insecurity" of Jodi more than the first installment although that does not mean that they still lack a lot to get along and connect completely in it. The height is no longer a problem and that's something really good because he doesn't have that tedious emphasis that his big problem is how tall he is and his big feet, he no longer gives courage, well not as much as before, his attitudes as well as the cringe that Dunkleman gave diminished a lot. Something that bothered me a little is the transitions of scenes and actions. Half of the movie they were rambling on about the same problem that I personally think would have been solved with communication. Something that was peculiar to me and made me very thankful was when his drama teacher asked him if he ever had a real problem because, being tall was not one but living on the street or not knowing what you will eat tomorrow was.
Hablando de precipitación, creo que lo del muchacho su nuevo compañero y como se dan las cosas con él, el momento lugar y todo fue muy apurado. Considero que eso solo estuvo hay para crear un triángulo amoroso inexistente o así no los consiguieron vender en el tráiler y fue un poco decepcionante por otro lado me gustó más el personaje Luke Eisner (Stig) era un relleno cómico y me agrado más su papel aunque su hermana no llego aportar algo relevante a la drama, por otro lado lo más destacable que puedo observar es como aún la seguridad de Jodi aún tambalea pero no por su altura si no por su seguridad en el escenario y gracias a ello el comienzo de su ansiedad, me pareció interesante ver cómo está salía a flote y como llego a un punto de colapsar, creo que hubiera sido mucho más interesante como hubieran desarrollado este punto junto a la hermana quien siempre me da pena su personaje por qué si lo desarrollaran de buena manera el trama sería diferente, si ella también tenía ataque de pánico por sus concursos de belleza y por como la tenían en tema de presión hubiera Sido interesante ver cómo también ella supera este miedo junto a su hermana.
Speaking of haste, I think that the boy and his new partner and how things happen with him, the time, place and everything was very rushed. I think that was only there to create a non-existent love triangle or so they didn't manage to sell it in the trailer and it was a bit disappointing on the other hand I liked the character Luke Eisner (Stig) more, he was a comic filler and I liked his role better although his sister didn't get to contribute something relevant to the drama, on the other hand the most remarkable thing I can observe is how Jodi's security is still shaky but not for her height but for her security on the stage and thanks to that the beginning of her anxiety, I think it would have been much more interesting to see how they had developed this point with her sister who always makes me feel sorry for her character because if they developed it in a good way the plot would be different, if she also had a panic attack because of her beauty contests and because of how they had her under pressure it would have been interesting to see how she also overcomes this fear with her sister.
Por otro lado la relación de Jodí y Dunkleman me pareció tierna no sé si era la apariencia de ambos o porque el me parece bonito pero los dos dan esa aura que quieres abrazarlo, todo lo que les sucedió es por orgullo y falta de comunicación. Creo que él pudo haber Sido un apoyo para ella en sus inseguridades y en su ansiedad por otro lado el se comporto como un niñato en momentos dónde solo necesitaban entenderse, creo que es muy relación adolescente y por eso está bien si toma esas actitudes, la mala de la historia no estuvo ninguna relevancia y de verdad que sí fue completamente relleno y su reivindicación fue muy sosa. En si la película me agrado, me gustó su final y me resultó sosa pero me dio gracia y debo confesar que me la Vi sin entretenerme en otra cosa y me la volví a ver a ver para ver si esa impresión se me quitaba, es esa continuaciones que nadie pidió y no hacían falta, realmente en historia no es mejor aunque quisieron tratar otros temas como el síndrome del impostor ( al mi parecer) y la ansiedad y por esto fue que me resulto más interesante, no es mejor en definitiva no, pero en lo personal si es más entretenida.
On the other hand the relationship of Jodi and Dunkleman seemed tender to me, I don't know if it was the appearance of both or because I think he is cute but they both give that aura that you want to hug him, everything that happened to them is because of pride and lack of communication. I think he could have been a support for her in her insecurities and anxiety on the other hand he behaved like a childish boy in moments where they just needed to understand each other, I think it's very adolescent relationship and that's why it's okay if he takes those attitudes, the bad guy in the story was no relevance and really it was completely filler and his vindication was very bland. I liked the movie, I liked its ending and I found it bland but it was funny and I must confess that I watched it without being entertained in anything else and I watched it again to see if that impression was removed, it is that continuation that nobody asked for and it was not necessary, really in history it is not better although they wanted to deal with other issues such as the impostor syndrome (in my opinion) and anxiety and that is why I found it more interesting, it is not better definitely not, but personally if it is more entertaining.
