There are series that since they begin are strange and even a little unnecessary, series that make us wonder if it was really necessary that they exist, series that basically are a waste and that end up establishing no strong point that allows them to highlight, well that is Powerless, a series that I do not think should ever have been done or that at least should have been more serious in its development.

The plot of this series places us in the dynamic around a company that is dedicated to developing gadgets for superheroes and for people who suffer attacks caused by the battles of superheroes, it is basically the story about a company dedicated to improving the lives of those who live with superheroes. In theory it doesn't sound so bad, however it is because of the direction in which the chapters are developed, since the whole atmosphere of the series is burlesque and silly, we don't have any moment of seriousness that manages to define the characters beyond the moments where they seem to be buffoons under the command of another buffoon.

As most of the comedies, the chapters are independent and even that doesn't make us laugh, the jokes are simple and superficial trying to constantly stand out in a forced way because that's what they are, silly jokes that we are being forced to see. The plot is also damaged by the lousy construction of characters, what I mean is that it is good that you try to give a comical twist to the superheroes but to place as the head of a company a totally stupid and tedious man is a lousy decision, and even more so if you give him such an imposing surname as Wayne.

Nothing stands out in the plot of this series, and in fact, there are moments when dramatic twists make it worse because they don't match the bizarre atmosphere that the series adopts.

Basically this series has no high point, and is strange because the cast is not so bad, ie, does a bad job but are usually actors who stand out in other roles, I guess the fact that the script has been a garbage has much to do. Throughout its development the series is torn to pieces until it ends up being something absurd, bizarre and totally boring where nothing can be rescued. I don't think I remember any scene or reference that I've enjoyed, we have an inside to a technology company that doesn't even use that argument and instead is dedicated to agglutinating stupid clichés.

I highly recommend you not to waste your time, because in this series nothing is worthwhile.
