Powerless

Hay serie que desde que comienzan se sienten raras y hasta un poco innecesarias, series que nos hacen preguntarnos si de verdad era necesario que existiesen, series que básicamente son un desperdicio y que nos terminan estableciendo ningún punto fuerte que les permita destacar, pues eso es Powerless, una serie que la verdad no creo que debio haberse hecho nunca o a la que al menos debieron ponerle más seriedad en su desarrollo.

[Source](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/68001-powerless?language=en-US) # # Hablemos de la historia # Powerless es una serie que se siente de mas, una serie cuya trama es totalmente estúpida y que no logro divertir en casi ningún momento, es decir, de verdad era necesario hacer una serie sobre una empresa que hace artefactos para superhéroes y otro tipo de cosas?. La trama de esta serie nos ubica en la dinámica alrededor de una compañía que se dedica a desarrollar target para superhéroes y para las personas que sufren ataques provocados por las batallas de los superhéroes, es básicamente la historia acerca de una empresa dedicada a mejorar la vida de quienes conviven con superhéroes. En teoría no suena tan mal, sin embargo lo es por el rumbo con el que los capítulos se desarrollan, ya que toda la atmosfera de la serie es burlesca y tonta, no tenemos ningún momento de seriedad que logra definir a los personajes más allá de los momentos donde parecen ser bufones bajo el mando de otro bufón.

Como la mayoría de las comedias los capítulos son independientes y ni asi nos provoca gracia, las bromas son simples y superficiales tratando de destacar constantemente de forma forzada porque eso son, bromas tontas que se nos están obligando a ver. La trama también se ve perjudicada por la pésima construcción de personajes, a lo que me refiero es que está bien que le trates de dar un giro cómico a los superhéroes pero colocar como el jefe de una compañía a un hombre totalmente estúpido y tedioso es una pésima decisión, y más si le das un apellido tan imponente con el Wayne.

Nada destaca en la trama de esta serie, y de hecho hay momentos que los giros dramáticos la hacen peor porque no van acorde con la atmosfera bizarra que adopta la serie.

[Source](https://www.tvguide.com/news/nbc-powerless-canceled/) # # Opinión # Esta serie sin duda fue una pérdida de tiempo, la comencé a ver porque en los trailers lucia bien, sin embargo rápidamente me di cuenta que todo era una ilusión donde la única parte rescatable era ese intro tan bien diseñado y que hacía mucha alusión a los universos de superhéroes.

Básicamente esta seria no tiene ningún punto alto, y es extraño porque el cast no es tan malo, es decir, hace un mal trabajo pero generalmente son actores que destacan en otros papeles, supongo que el hecho que el guion haya sido una basura tiene mucho que ver. A lo largo de su desarrollo la serie se va despedazando hasta terminar siendo algo absurdo, bizarro y totalmente aburrido donde nada se puede rescatar. No creo recordar alguna escena o alguna referencia que me haya disfrutado, tenemos un inside a una empresa de tecnología que ni siquiera hace uso de ese argumento y que en cambio se dedica a aglutinar clichés estúpidos.

Les recomiendo enormemente que no pierdan su tiempo, porque en esta serie nada vale la pena.

There are series that since they begin are strange and even a little unnecessary, series that make us wonder if it was really necessary that they exist, series that basically are a waste and that end up establishing no strong point that allows them to highlight, well that is Powerless, a series that I do not think should ever have been done or that at least should have been more serious in its development.

The plot of this series places us in the dynamic around a company that is dedicated to developing gadgets for superheroes and for people who suffer attacks caused by the battles of superheroes, it is basically the story about a company dedicated to improving the lives of those who live with superheroes. In theory it doesn't sound so bad, however it is because of the direction in which the chapters are developed, since the whole atmosphere of the series is burlesque and silly, we don't have any moment of seriousness that manages to define the characters beyond the moments where they seem to be buffoons under the command of another buffoon.

As most of the comedies, the chapters are independent and even that doesn't make us laugh, the jokes are simple and superficial trying to constantly stand out in a forced way because that's what they are, silly jokes that we are being forced to see. The plot is also damaged by the lousy construction of characters, what I mean is that it is good that you try to give a comical twist to the superheroes but to place as the head of a company a totally stupid and tedious man is a lousy decision, and even more so if you give him such an imposing surname as Wayne.

Nothing stands out in the plot of this series, and in fact, there are moments when dramatic twists make it worse because they don't match the bizarre atmosphere that the series adopts.

Basically this series has no high point, and is strange because the cast is not so bad, ie, does a bad job but are usually actors who stand out in other roles, I guess the fact that the script has been a garbage has much to do. Throughout its development the series is torn to pieces until it ends up being something absurd, bizarre and totally boring where nothing can be rescued. I don't think I remember any scene or reference that I've enjoyed, we have an inside to a technology company that doesn't even use that argument and instead is dedicated to agglutinating stupid clichés.

I highly recommend you not to waste your time, because in this series nothing is worthwhile.
